Manages a Purchasing Team, ensures that the most efficient and cost effective methods are applied to the best interest of the Corporation.
Negotiating with suppliers, ensuring delivery schedules are met and preparing ongoing reports for management are all part of the job.
Monitors, reviews and controls all purchasing functions as per corporate policies, procedures and standards.
Coordinates and ensures that material requirements of the Corporation are procured effectively and meet the required specifications and delivery dates.
.Performs any other related duties as required.
Searching for new suppliers
Lead the demand planning activities of the sub-region
Generate rolling unconstrained statistical forecast for 18 months for all products by customer in the region (initially on excel spread sheets) - volume and value
Highlight the gaps between the demand plan and the business strategy.
Prepare all the demand related data and presentation for the sub-regional S&OP meetings highlighting the Gaps
Work with sales and other relevant teams to improve the forecast accuracy for the identified areas
Continuously and creatively look for opportunities to improve the Demand Forecasting and Planning process.
Assist the regional demand planning team on regional demand planning improvement projects if required.
Developing systems of control, policies and procedures relating to procurement.
Note : I have worked with them since 2011 regarding the Iraqi issues the company closed its office from April 2015 till Jan 2017 and moved all the works to Iraq then it returned to Jordan
Procurement and innovation trainer at Adiips (from Feb 2016 till Jan 2018 )
During this time I was working with Adiips (Abudhabi International Private school I was able to work with them in the innovation department and also in the supplying of the books .
Dring this period I worked there as intership with a procurement team for construction teams I was able to do the following :
Measure, analyze and report the KPIs
Dealing with different contractors.
at allied for chemical and trade .
Working in all the raw material specifications, dealing with different suppliers
Checking with the warehouse about the material weekly .
