• To coordinate and administer port call operations between GAC Hub Services (GHS) Principals and Ship Agents
• Assist in the training of new colleagues and solving job related issues when they arise.
• A key stakeholder to promote and demonstrate GAC Hub values and work ethics, uphold company policies and work practices such as customer SOP's, promote mentorship and teamwork to team members.
• Support transshipment activities in Africa region by liaising with port agencies
• Record all master feedback and operational feedbacks and investigate the necessary hits and misses.
• Manage relationship with the customer and monitor their VCR received via IMOS.
• Suggest improvement regarding IMOS to the Vessel operator.
• Record all the Vessels in the GACSHIP are regulated and segregated for transshipments and other shipping activities.
• Voyage orders attended to promptly, normally within 2 hours.
• Communication with GHS Principals to obtain and explain information to and from local Ship Agents
• Cost and Fees from local agents are checked, correct, and correspond to what is contractually agreed.
• Ensuring Compliance with relevant procedure
• Ensuring correct currencies are applied.
• For CTM requests, 100% fund requests and fund payments are authorized.
• Understanding the needs from the voyage operator and coordinating with the vessel agents and other parties for timely delivery.
• Follow of for berthing prospects along with Vessel cargo docs, departure reports and SOF from the Agents.
