Experimental work on polymer synthesis and characterization.

•Oscillating Disc Rheometer and Mooney Viscometer.
•High Temperature Gel Permeation Chromatography(Malvern-Viscotek)
•Differential Scanning Calorimetry and Thermogravimetric analyzer.
•TREF and CRYSTAF, Microcalorimeter, Buchi Rotavapour and ThermoHaake polymer MiniLab II.
•FTIR, Instron Universal Testing Machine, Creep Testing Machine, Hydraulic carver press, Ball mill and Brabender.
Computer operator in Kerala State Electricity board, Section office Valapad, Edamuttam, Kerala, India.
The polymer test samples were prepared by mixing in a Lab two roll mill with varying amounts (0, 0.15 & 0.2g) of TMTM (Tetra methyl thiuram mono sulfide), accelerator booster and reduction of retarder (0.2 to 0.1g) CTP (N-cyclohexyl thio phthalimide), Prevulcanization inhibitor. The polymer test samples were tested for cure characteristic and Mooney viscosity by using Oscillating Disc Rheomter (ODR) and Mooney viscometer.
