Highlights:
• Designed business strategies to optimize sale of Barakat Travel & Holidays packages to ensure the business operations consistently meet the changing needs of the business and generate revenue in line with departmental and corporate growth strategies.
• Developed, built and maintained long-term, value-based customer relationships by offering customized packages for all kinds of tourism holidays (family vacations, honeymoons, adventures, religious, cultural, business, incentives, team building and others).

Key Responsibilities:
• Leading, managing and enhancing all aspects of business operations to deliver exceptional levels of performance, quality and service to both the travel trade as well as the direct customer.
• Identifying opportunities to maximize the sales, offering competitive packages to customers, whilst protecting departmental margins.
• Overseeing arrangements and managing client from initial contact through trip evaluation, ascertaining all reservations for airline seats, hotel accommodation, tours and transfers are booked according to customer requirements, in line with departmental procedures and guidelines.
• Identifying new avenues for growth by acquiring new customers, constantly following up with agents for repeat business; cultivating rapport with clients and earned referrals.
• Visiting clients, understanding their needs and providing advocacy to offer the most suitable customer package by matching his interests on leisure related activities and tourist sites.
• Providing clients with detailed information of routes, hotels, excursions, visa, health requirements and weather conditions across all destinations of choice.
• Managing customer centric operations & ensuring customer satisfaction by achieving delivery & service quality norms. Attending to clients’ complaints on booking related issues, impacting revenue result delivery and undertaking steps for effectively resolving them.
• Maximizing client satisfaction by providing top notch customer service, handling all reservation systems, internet, company websites to research and report on pricing, availability, features, hotel profiles, resorts, tour itineraries, and sightseeing tours based on customers requirement.
