Store Wise P&L:
• Store wise P&L capturing all line items and analysis on break event point, productivity, store expenses etc.
• Monthly MIS on staff count and cost analyses for all stores
Monthly Review meeting:
• Input preparation for monthly MIS meet between senior management including but not limited to:
1.Analysis of stock ageing/ freshness and availability of stock for top selling SKUs
2.Various Inputs for variance analysis commentary
Budgeting:
• Responsible for maintaining key masters in COGNOS (store and staff related master)
• Coordinated function wise common cost budget with minimal supervision & helped in preparation of board deck
• Acted as a controller for consolidating functional guidance sent to businesses for budgeting exercise
Daily Sales & Margin MIS:
• Daily sale performance, current trend, growth vs last year, budget achievement at brand/ region/mall/ store level
• Daily Invoice and footfall analyses and reports preparation
• Weekly margin report with breakup in seasons highlighting low margin stores
• key involvement in Implementation of Oracle and IBM COGNOS
Accounting & Book close (Accountant role)
• Monthly accounting for store level expenses for Max concept
• Sales and COGS reconciliation from RMS system to OFIN
• Credit card reconciliation, Store petty cash checking & accounting
•Monitor the work of cashiers on a daily basis
• Handle store operations in the absence of store managers
• Evaluate performance of cashier and provide
managers with information on appraisals
• Reconcile cash with receipts at the end of each shift and make sure that any discrepancies are managed immediately
• Interview, hire and train new employees to work as cashiers
• Maintain and update daily, monthly and yearly accounts spreadsheets
• Provide assistance with year-end inventory

•Handle cash, credit or check transactions with customers
