→ Overall supervision of the Instrumentation Department in the factory including different
chemical plants such as the IPH (Isophorone) plant, DAA ( Diacetone Alcohol) plant, Chiller
plant, Cooling Towers and the Boiler and utlility
→ Responsible for installation and modification of the instrumentation systems in the plant
→ Responsible for the Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS) activities in the plant
→ Responsible for documentation works of ISO 9001:2008, 14001:18001
→ Working in co-ordination with the project people for the installation and development of instrumentation Systems using PI&D, Hook Up drawings including DCS (Yokogawa Centum
3000), loop checking, commissioning support etc. for a new upcoming project of PA (Phenol
Acetone) plant in the pipeline
→ Responsible for the preparation of work orders for the Instrumentation Consultants,
Calibration and service engineers among others, and the billing of these
→ Responsible for the report taking activities from the instrument technicians and consultation with the Manager and plant in charge, supervisors and operators.
→ Responsible for the indent of instruments depending on stock availability.
→ Overall supervision includes handling of, PLC&SCADA, Weighing balance and Load cells,
Control Valves, I2P converters, DPT's, Pressure Transmitters, Level Transmitters, Temperature
Transmitters, Flow Transmitters, Flow meters, Process Controllers and indicators, orifice plate
assemblies, float and board indicators, rotameters, sight glass, level indicators, head mounted
temperature sensors, temperature dial gauges, temperature controllers and indicators,
pressure, vacuum, compound gauges, pressure switches, water meters, PH Meters,
conductivity meters etc.
