Role & Responsibilities:
•Prepared the Documents before starting of work by scope of work.
•Review of P& ID’s, piping Plans and Isometric Drawings.
•Making Punch list during walkdown.
•Raising and resolving Non-Conformity reports (NCR).
•Witnessing for Hydrotest and make sure all equipment like manifold, Gauge time valid.
•Checking the line or equipment joints for any leakage found during hydrotest.
•Ensure and review the inspection plan as per SATIP or as per ITP.
•Inspection of Welding Consumables and Monitoring for proper handing in ovens for maintaining the consumables for better performance during welding and holding purpose.
•Ensure fit up, visual, dimensional inspection, monitoring of welding parameters prior during welding as per approved WPS.
•Involved in heat treatment process.
•Review and maintain for pre-heating as per WPS. Checking the inter-pass temp during welding to maintained as per std.
•Follow up with NDT and PWHT technician after welding.
•Review Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) with Relevant Qualified Procedure
Qualification Records (PQR) for the specific project.
•Involve of making PQR test.
•Evaluating and marking the welding defects in different welding process (GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, SAW & FCAW) during the inspection.
•Witnessing Welding Procedure and approval of Welder Qualification Tests (WQT) including destructive tests.
•Check and ensure all incoming materials to be used have up to mark with international standard by checking MTC of the material.
•Involved in manufacturing of Storage tank and pressure vessel to check all quality parameters material tracing record and NDT required.
•Involved in witnessing of DPT, MPT, UT and give proper instruction to the team if some defects occurs while testing and discuss the parameters to repair the defects.
•To maintain and review RT Rejection, Repairs rate Monitored, Controlled Repairs Rate as Specified percentage limits, Repair Mark up and Trace Out.
•Approved welder for project, as per quality standard.
•Involved in RT, and interpret the film if any repair occurs mark as per radiography film. And involved in repair and give the technical instructions to the team.
•Co-Ordinate with RT Technician and QC personals.
•knowing the measurement and calculation to be used in exposure time and source to film distance.
•Checking the condition of the dark room where the film has to developed.
•Checking the proper maintaining temperature of dark room and chemical condition.
•Review the radiograph film and ensure the film density and sensitivity calibration by observing penetrameter to be use as per std (DIN, ASTM).
•Familiar with the international standard code as per ASME

 To Interpret the Radiography film and accept or reject as per STD.

 Fabrication dimension check during stage wise inspection of piping, vessel &equipment.
 Inspection of Gasket installation and Bolt Torque check-up’s as Required Torque Values as per Sequence.
 Review of Hydrostatic Test Procedure, Packages and Lay-up Procedure
 Perform valves Hydrostatic test as per standards API 598.
 To check valves ratings &materials and to ensure no damage during shipping as per standards.
 Witnessing of Such operation as Preheat, PWHT, and DPT.
 Verifying Preheat, PWHT Charts and Holding time according to the Wall Thickness and performing HT (hardness testing).
 Inspection of Welding Consumables and Monitoring of Welding electrodes log books per daily basis of project requirements.
