Working as a section head for Maintenance planning Department. Effective SAP power user who guides end user and does Master data Maintaining for Assets and its Maintenance strategy formulation. Performance monitoring and reporting to Management.Handles Business plan preparation and Budget preparation. Total control and responsibility for implementing maintenance best practices taken over to implement Operation & Maintenance from Project phase.

1.)I am working for Power Plant as a Mechanical Maintenance Junior Manager, which is being used to generate 100, 1*130, 2*300 MW
2.)I am reporting to Sr.Manager, O & M
3.) I am managing Engineers, Asst. Engineers & Mechanical Maintenance agencies .
4.) Responsibilities are Maintaining plant availability 100%, Approving Technical proposals, Developing New Vendors, Major & minor Shutdown Planning .
• The unit consists of one set of Boilers, Alstom Projects India Limited, Durgapur (9.3Mpa, 540C, 390TPH), 20 Stage Impulse-Reaction Turbine, SIEMENS (9.0Mpa, 535C, 100 MW).

• Responsible for planning and effecting Mechanical maintenance schedules of various machines to increase machine up time and equipment reliability through ORACLE PM Module.

• Tracking daily breakdowns, implementing preventive maintenance program to improve the efficiency of the system or the equipment undergoing maintenance.

• Coordinating with Condition Monitoring Team for Vibration analysis of Rotating equipment.
• Monitoring the performance level of the staff for ensuring accomplishment of the target.
• Organizing regular periodic meetings & trainings for staff & engineers for discussing current work issues and devising solutions for enhanced Dept. functions.
• Monitoring various site activities/ work proceeds and suggesting the Site Engineer on remedies for mitigating the risks involved.
• Preparing work order finalization, vendor selection.

1.)I was working for Power Plant as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, 4*30 MW and also i worked in Power Project 1*30 MW
2.)I was reporting to Manager, O & M
3.) I was managing Asst. Engineers & Mechanical Maintenance agencies.

4.) Responsibilities were
The unit consists of four sets of Pulverized Fuel Fired Boilers (9.2Mpa, 540C, 140TPH), 21 Stage Impulse-Reaction Turbine (9.0Mpa, 535C, 140TPH).

• Maintenance, Materials management, Purchase and Quality Assurance; exposure to working under SAP enabled environment

• Focus on Plant availability

• In-charge & Responsible for all mechanical activities & Rotating Equipment Jobs carried out in Boiler & Turbine and its accessories like Fans, pumps, soot blowers, valves etc..)

• Self Holds the responsibility of Mechanical Maintenance Team

• Working in SAP environment in Production and Maintenance Module

• Coordinator for SAP R/3 (PM module)

• Maintaining the stores & spares and contract expenses and extensive usage of PM module for maintenance information systems

• Follow up of Preventive Maintenance Activities.

• Shutdown Maintenance and Opportunity Maintenance planner

• Best maintenance practices, Documentation modification in relation with UMS

• Developing new vendors

• Evaluating & developing technical competence of vendors for critical components.

• Proposal for new projects for continual improvement & development of the process

• Procurement of Stores & spares

• Controlling costs for spares and contracts

• Ensuring 100% compliance in safety to maintain the ZERO accident/incident/near miss

• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Management Techniques like ISO 9001, EMS 14001 and OHSAS 18001

• Working in Workflow automation software (ASP environment) for approving Leave requisitions, Gate passes etc. raised by sub-ordinates

• Trained Yellow belt in six sigma
