• Defining & implementing engineering standards and structured process/construction plans for various Electrical & Instrument, Telecommunication, and Security activities in accordance with project specifications and procedures
• Coordinating with the construction, commissioning, safety, and other concerned departments for mechanical, instrumentation completion activities
• Supervise and Command the installation, maintenance of both preventive & corrective, and testing/commissioning of Low voltage, Medium voltage & High Voltage Electrical equipment in accordance with client procedures and technical standards including HV & LV Switchgear Panels, Transformers, Earthing Systems, MCCs, PCCs, HT & LT Motors, various types of Motor starter panels (VFD, Soft Starters, Star - Delta & DOL) of various equipment's, Emergency DG set, UPS, Lighting Control System, Central Battery System, Building internal/external lighting, Plant & Road Lighting, Fire alarm, Telecommunication, Security, etc.
• Managing all electrical work operations related to IBMS, Fire alarm system, Access Control, and CCTV monitoring
• Submitting regular work reports like daily/monthly reports, equipment failure reports, incident/accident reports, quality site issues, and other related QA/QC non-conformities to project specification & standards
• Working on all types of drawing like P&ID, location layout, typical drawing, vendor drawing, SLD, IFC or AFC drawing, etc.
• Contractor representative for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities associated with Electrical installations, incl. FAT (Factory Acceptance), SAT (Site Acceptance)
• Monitoring the activity at sites & review of project schedule, planning and ensuring cost control within budget
• Focusing on optimization of construction parameters and initiating process improvements for achieving the project targets
• Verification of inspection carried out by Subcontractor, as per finalized ITPs, drawings, and specifications
• Interfacing with the senior engineer, completion & quality departments to ensure seamless transfer of QC records and knowledge between disciplines and JV partners
• Carry out punch-listing on Mechanical completion Third-party walk down acceptance and monitor the closing of punch items
• Liaising with Company representatives and ensuring good cohesion and communication between PMC, PMT & Refinery teams
• Actively participates in all important Project meetings, Pre startup Inspection, and MC Walkthrough
• Ensure that Subcontractor personnel are thoroughly briefed regarding all safety rules and regulations pertaining to their work, toolbox talk for Company & Contractor technicians inclusive of attending the safety orientation briefing
• Monitor, witness, and acceptance of subcontractors pre-commissioning activities like equipment testing, solo run, mechanical run test
• Conducting checks to ensure performance on various electrical equipment
• Responsible for finishing the assigned projects and ensuring that all Final Project Record Book, Material Record Book Submission and PTOP, TOF (Turnover of Facility) along with Warranty Claim completion

• Contractor representative for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up sequence activities associated with Electrical installations, incl. FAT (Factory Acceptance), SAT (Site Acceptance)
• Essential duties and responsibilities providing strategic guidance and oversight of project management and engineering operations for large projects in INDIA
• Understanding of codes and standards, Testing and commissioning requirements for cabling, earthing, generators, HV/MV/LV electrical distribution systems, and panels, transformers, automatic transfer switches(ATS), lighting and lighting controls, UPS system, batteries and charging system, protection devices, power monitoring systems, energy management system and other related electrical systems
• Responsible for Electrical work and asset preventive maintenance schedule, reactive maintenance and corrective maintenance
• Responsible for testing and commissioning of Electrical & Instrumentation activities such as HV, MV, and LV switch gears, Cables (Power/Control/FO/Communication), Overhead lines, Transformers, Motors, Protection relays, AC/DC UPS charger, and Batteries, HVAC, Power distribution panels, Lighting distribution panels, Lightning and Grounding system, Heat Tracing system, Cathodic protection system, VSD and VFD’s, F&G system and Field instruments
• Handled the operation, installation, and maintenance of various electrical equipment
• Implementing the Testing and Commissioning plan, Method statements, Procedures, Reports, and Datasheets, Testing criteria, validate or invalidate testing and commissioning results
• Inspection of workplace for potential hazard, assessing risks and report potential injuries, accident and hazards
• Conducting commissionability reviews of projects documents/Construction progress inspections
• Supporting the implementation of the flawless start-up initiatives in the execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning
• Coordinating and Supporting the CSU operations team in the execution of Commissioning and start-up activities
• Review and Approval of all commissioning electrical engineering documents developed by the Contractor & approval of project specific ITRs
• Analyses schematics and blueprints to address problems and failures within the electro-mechanical and electrical system
• Communicate with customer’s representatives, vendors and internal contacts to ensure proper transfer of information
• Preparing relevant electrical equipment, system commissioning /energization and testing procedure
• Monitoring complex construction and commissioning schedules to ensure timely completion of work
• Implementing outage and energization plans, and detailed commissioning plans
• P&ID review, verification, and approval of design for electrical, instrument, fire, and gas, telecom and security system
• Managed supervisor and technicians implementing electrical control system
• Liaising and attending meetings with Company, Consultants, and other key personnel to resolve electrical issues
• Communicate effectively with the Electrical engineering team and project stakeholders, including customers
• Assisting in the preparation of detailed specifications, data, calculations, and reports
• Actively involved with operation team to maintain or quickly restore supplies of electricity in the event of loss of power supply
• Worked with the team to carry out fault finding, investigation, repairs, and modifications to the conveyance and supply system to ensure the reliability of all equipment
• Actively participating in the internal review meeting
• Perform preventive maintenance to check especially the critical types of equipment in order to have a continuous plant operation
• Daily routine inspection of equipment/devices and provide tracking records prior to a scheduled maintenance shutdown
