• Operate and monitor DCS systems for continuous plant operations.
• Adjust air-to-acid gas ratio, Claus furnace temperature and reaction stages to maintain
high sulfur recovery efficiency.
• Contributed to achieving >99.8% Sulphur recovery efficiency through consistent
monitoring of TGTU section and maintaining WHB steam pressure to achieve amine
regenerator overhead temperature to strip out H2S and recovering approx. 4.8% acid
gas and feeding acid gas to train 1&2 to recover Sulphur.
• Monitor catalyst bed temperatures and prevent thermal runaways.
• Ensure tail gas meets SO₂ emissions compliance before routing to the incinerator.
• Monitor sulfur degassing section, sulfur pit temperature, pump operations and loading.
• Improved Sulphur pit temperature stability by optimizing steam coil usage during
winter operations.
• Coordinate with logistics for continuous sulfur product dispatch.
• Prepare daily production reports, logs, incident logs, wrong plant alarm records,
equipment status updates and shift handover documentation.
• Ensure adherence to HSE, process safety, PTW, JSA, LOTO and emergency
response standards.
• Control process parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level.
• Perform plant startup and shutdown activities safely.
• Respond to alarms, trips, and emergency situations efficiently.
• Coordinate with field operators for smooth plant functioning.

• Assisted CRO in monitoring plant systems and equipment during COVID-19 pandemic.
• Simulating & forcing values in ONLINE (to avoid PLST or TRIP or BDQ) as per SCE
instruction.
• Conducted routine inspections and troubleshooting.
• Supported maintenance activities, start-up & shutdown operations.
• Operation of Gas Turbine, HRSG Boiler, SEA Water Cooling Tower, Water
Cooled Condenser.
• Local preparation of gas turbine (GT) and Balance of Plant (BOP) start-up.
• Responsible for the smooth operation of BOP (Like Firefighting systems, Gas plant, Fuel
oil treatment plant, Instrument air compressors system, DM plants, RO systems, Chiller
plants, CW systems, CT makeup systems Chlorination plant) for both Gas Turbines and
Steam Turbines.
• BSDG and EDG test run as per routine schedule.
• Boiler Preservation during long shutdown.
• Closely monitoring the Alarm lists and clears it as per CCR command.
