¾ Attend to Inspection Requests (IR's) and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
¾ Review of submittals, shop drawings etc. against specifications and contract drawings, local
codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
¾ Coordinate with other disciplines in finding solutions for the RFI’s raised by the contractor.
¾ Review of Technical submittals including method statements, pump head calculations and
ESP calculations.
¾ Monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental
issues, ensuring the same complies with contracts / QCS specifications.
¾ Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are
readily available for inspection as and when required.
¾ Prepare Surveillance Report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site that are believed to
have failed or if the contractor is not complying with verbal instructions and subsequently
complete a Non Conformance Report (NCR) if required in view of the development of
events.
¾ Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that
may arise.
¾ Monitor the contractor’s (ITP's) and quality plan(s) in regards to discipline related works.
¾ Inspect materials delivered and report on quantity and technical compliance.
¾ Ensure site progress information is communicated regularly.
¾ Review scope of works including budgeting & plan site execution.
¾ Arranging & forecasting of manpower, materials, tools & machineries as per project
requirement.
¾ Assist purchase team in technical aspects of the materials to be used at site.
¾ Monitor the installation of HVAC, Plumbing & Fighting works on site and instruct to rectify
the deficiencies prior to inviting the consultant for inspection.
¾ Review work progress at site and raise invoice accordingly.
¾ Attend meetings with the client, consultants and suppliers to deal with various issues at site.
¾ Testing and commissioning of complete installation for final handover to the client.
Estimation:
¾ Comprehensive review of contract documents and preparation of RFI’s.
¾ Quantifying the materials & preparation of detailed cost estimates.
¾ Soliciting quotes from vendors and subcontractors for various work scopes and discuss with
Vendor’s for optimal solutions.
¾ Preparation of bid documents and submittals.
¾ Liaise with all concerned departments and prepare comprehensive technical submissions.
¾ Coordinating with sales team in providing information’s regarding technical and pricing
aspects.
