• Responsible for the preparation and review of mechanical design calculations such as Cooling load calculation, Duct sizing, Fan sizing, Pump sizing, Pipe sizing, Plumbing system, Fire Fighting sprinklers system and others.

• Responsible for preparation and review of shop drawings submittals and materials submittals intended to the project and ensuring that all submittals are complied to the project specifications.

• Responsible for preparation and review of as-built drawing for every mechanical and plumbing works installed at job site.

• Assist site mechanical engineer / foreman for reviewing and interpreting of mechanical shop drawings before installation.

• Check and review of materials delivered in site against approved materials submittals.

• Prepare information for testing and commissioning report, RFIs, O&M manuals and other technical documentation.

• Procurement of mechanical materials and equipment, quantity surveying and other office works.

• Performs daily site inspection and providing field support as necessary during installation stages.

• Provide response and technical solutions to RFI’s raised by the contractors.
• Familiarizes with client’s specifications, codes and standards, general design criteria, technical guidelines and standard drawings.

• Reviewing of contractors shop drawing and material submittals, design, calculation. Technical reports and coordinate work of other disciplines and departments.

• Prepare conceptual design and layouts.

• Check and rectify the fire pump flow, pressure head needed for fire protection sprinkler system, HVAC heating load calculations, calculation of ventilating fans capacity and total static pressure, calculation of plumbing pumps capacity and head, and all others mechanical related calculation submitted by the MEP Contractor.

• Responsible for assigning job to subordinates as per preventive maintenance schedule and emergency calls from building security personnel.

• Supervising subordinates from implementing safety rules and procedures for any mechanical, electrical and plumbing works assigned to them.

• Responsible for regular reporting of day to day accomplishment and major maintenance activities.

• Prepare materials’ requests needed in site during corrective maintenance schedule.
