Identifying and developing new suppliers to create healthy competition, selecting suppliers, establishing strategic supplier relationships where appropriate and manage it accordingly, eliminating non-value adding suppliers to reduce supplier base. Involved in developing and updating the procurement control list and expediting sheets for timely delivery of the equipment & material. Closing out the purchase orders upon the receipt of goods.
Timely purchase of all the materials, tools, equipments and consumables for the EPC project. Overseeing day to day purchase function. Resolving vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers. Reviewing purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
