Authorized competent personnel to carry out the all the operation & Maintenance in the field or through SCADA system on live parts of Distribution & control DEWA network 33kV and below up to 415 V including issuing/receiving work permit authority.
Hands on OPERATION experience on various Switchgears and RMU- ABB, SIEMENS, TAMCO, AREVA, MITSUBISHI, REYROLE, FUJI, NATUS, COL, ELMEC and MERLIN GERIN 33kV.
Perform assessment /Commissioning/ Point to point testing of Distribution Automation (DA) of newly installed systems for RMUs and new projects and their operational systems.
Commissioning of New Substation Ring Main Unit (RMU), Transformer and LVDB in Distribution Substation and Ensure deliverables as per DEWA standards.
Load and Condition monitoring in DEWA substation and all equipment (ASSETS) in Network. Inspect existing substations regularly to check its capability (Electrical and Civil) and provide the advice for planned or spot maintenance by creating NODs (Notification of Defects) in SAP.
Responsible for all outages 132KV/33KV/11KV/6.6 KV/400V eg: Releasing & Energizing circuits, Modification of Ring circuits, Introduction & Deletion of Substation, Load transfer, System conversion, CBs, Cables, RMU, Transformer & LVDB, DC Battery & Battery chargers, HV/ LV Generator, Routine maintenance & Replacement (Implementing Shut down as per DEWA Quality procedure & QHSE policies and standards) Cable Testing, Live Phasing, Load sharing, Load & Condition monitoring of the Substations.
Prepare Switching Program & contingency plan with SLD for all the outages 132kV/33KV/11KV circuits & Distribution Transformers, Bus coupler, Bus section, Busbar outages, Capacitor Bank outages and any emergency outages.
Prepare/Review Contingency plan/Switching plan/ CAR drawings
Monitor & control power system parameters loading, voltage and power factor. Analysis & review daily schedule outages before final approval of execution by ESC.Prepare & Review switching program for emergency works. Analysis system alarms and guide team for remedial action.
Hands-on experience in SCMS database configuration and substation field automation (RTU), DEWA power system networks in Transmission and distribution levels.
Network analysis and studies in SCADA/ADMS environment to support operational requirements for the electrical power distribution of Dubai emirate. Analyzing system parameters, identifying network deficiencies, power quality studies, grid automation, network improvement proposals, and providing support for Smart Grid and Distributed Generation projects.
Review and analyse RFQ documents and identify the scope of work, develop technical queries, details of deviations and clarifications etc.
Review of Master Plans, drawing, documents submitted by team members &vendors/contractors. Estimation & costing of Electrical materials/equipment for different new projects.
Engineering design and review of Single Line Diagram (SLD) and LV/MV/HV Switchgear panels, Transformer, Distribution boards and capacitor banks, power cables etc. depends on projects electrical data/ specification/Standards and requirements. Work with the Technical Design Team in technical review of designs for individual projects.
Preparation of technical datasheets, list of deviations and clarifications etc., overall cable routing, Earthing layout, Cable Schedule, load flow, Power cable sizing calculation, Load schedule, DB schedule for project.
Making relevant documents (data sheets, specifications) for approval of all electrical items using as per projects requirement/specifications from client/consultants.
Review vendor documentation, preparing the General Vendor List, prepare RFQs, and provide design related evaluation of proposals for materials and equipment.
Prepare Automation Techno-Commercial proposals & system architecture, Instrument datasheets, E & I Schematic for Industrial process controls PLC, HMI, SCADA ESD, MCC & PLC control panels with VFD & Soft starters, Hazardous Area Zone Panels(ATEX and IECEx ) and standard networking technologies of Profibus, Field bus, Ethernet, Modbus, Wireless and Optical transmission.
Prepare scope of work/FDS/deviations and tracking Review Customer Project technical requirements, Specifications and Standards.
Co-ordinate with the Client for delivery of the project
Carry out detailed site surveys. Prepare Works Contract document
Prepare Conceptual design reports and cost estimates
Prepare Scope of Works and BOQ and Works Tender Documents
Undertake Technical and Commercial Evaluation of Bids received
Conduct the project by conducting Kick off meetings, Monthly project meeting, Weekly site review meetings to ensure project complies with the specifications.
Ensure project Completes within the specified period. Direct the site supervision staff
Prepare project Cash Flows and best estimates for establishing projects GOM.
Co-ordinate with the design team for timely review of technical documentation.
Ensure HSE requirements are compiled in all project stages.
Prepare and Issue Snag lists, Provisional Acceptance Certificate, Final Acceptance certificates and closeout reports.
To prepare, Plan & Monitor, review and evaluate technical submittals project activities like designing (AUTOCAD), Tendering, procurement, manufacturing, installation testing and commissioning, Opeartion & maintenance of the LV switchgear & Busducts.
Handling the project technical & commercial contractual documentation/conduct ongoing constructability reviews to successfully meet the schedules and budgets / issues with the customer.
Create a Project Closure Report covering all financials, quality & technical aspects, modification of Existing system design.
Monitoring submittals to obtain approvals and permits necessary by all regulatory agencies and local authorities (DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, ADDC).
Provide consultation to clients on topics of their operating efficiency, equipment performance energy modeling, data logging, energy management control systems, lighting or day lighting design, sustainable design, energy analysis and energy audit.
Checks & performs energy savings calculations, conducts site investigations, creates estimates and written descriptions of conservation measures, post-implementation analysis to compare with pre-implementation proposal and prepare a report.
Acting as a Energy Manager in standardizing processes and documentations related to Energy Audits in various fields of loads (HVAC), recommending suitable reactive power, energy utilization, consumption, and cost allocation for different level of industrial load conditions and Projects
Acting as Service & Commission Engineer for APFC & Harmonic Reactor panels It includes panels Final testing, problem analysis and rectification for windmill, cogeneration plants and industrial induction loads.
Prepare energy audit reports data measurement from the field, technology research, and energy savings analysis interpret them to detect areas where the customer's energy efficiency can be improved.
