- Provide procurement and logistics support to UNHCR Pakistan after the floods crisis in the country;
- liaison with GSM and Stockpiles for CRI requests,
- manage customs, transport, and delivery of assistance to most affected areas as required;
- Support sub offices (Peshawar and Quetta) in ensuring adequate warehousing and timely transportation arrangement;
- manage any local procurement of goods and/or services required for the flood emergency;
- reporting on a weekly basis on all logistics activities related to the flood situation.
- In accordance with the UNVIM guidelines, facilitate the provision of a certificate of clearance for legitimate commercial imports and humanitarian cargo destined to the Yemen Red Sea Ports while ensuring compliance with the United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 2216 (2015).
- Conducts internal discussions and consultations with Coordination Officers, Monitors, Inspectors and other UNVIM staff to obtain a consensus on requests and resolves any discrepancies before the request is cleared for further processing.
- Ensures the cargo does not contain any prohibited items as per UNSCR 2216 (2015) and as declared by the requesting entity.
- Categorise the cargo list into Food, humanitarian cargo and suspected cargo if required.
- Works with importers, traders and port authorities to process container screening and inspections are compliant with UN and Government of Yemen guidelines.
- Monitors the screening and inspection process of suspected items in trans-shipment ports as outlined in UNSCR 2216(2015).
- Prepares monitoring and inspection reports as per the reporting templates and provide them to the Coordination Officers for onward perusal.
- In accordance with the UNVIM guidelines, oversee primary and secondary inspections of vessels and cargo in international waters or designated regional trans-shipment ports respectively.
- Engages shipping entities and port authorities to obtain relevant documents.
- Drafts inspection reports listing the conclusions of the inspection for the UN Security Council.
- Provide procurement and logistics advice and guidance to staff on the application of the ICMP's procurement and contracting policies;
- Prepare bidding documents, conduct contract negotiations to define contract terms and conditions;
- Ensure the timely processing of acquisition requests (AR's) and duty travel requests (DTR) and support staff in the processing of travel claims;
- Manage Iraq facilities in Erbil, Baghdad and the field, including all offices and staff accommodations, and maintain oversight of contracts and contractors to ensure current and future office and accommodation needs and services are delivered;

- Advise staff on the implementation of program-related projects from a financial perspective, notably to ensure compliance with ICMP financial rules and regulations and donor financial reporting requirements;
