A challenging role which I took up after I quit The Hindu, was complete in charge of Advertising & Marketing of the new Tamil Daily namely Dina Cheithi. Handling a sales team of 25-30 on a day to day basis, providing them the necessary inputs and guidance. Target fixing and meeting all top clients and promoting the newspaper. Was reporting to the Managing Director on a day to day basis.
Incharge of promoting Circulation sales in corporate segment, promoting Businessline a premium English business newsdaily. job includes selling full page advertisement, increasing circulation, promoting our epaper among B school students.
From conceptualizing Events, Marketing the event through budgeted Campaign. revenue generation through Sponsorship / Advertising / Stall space selling. Handled 4 major events namely The Hindu Literary Festival Property Plus - Living Spaces Metro Plus Life Style & The Hindu Theatre & Music Festival. was instrumental in successfully launching our Living Spaces a retail exhibit event bringing all the top Real Estate Clients, Banks under one roof. The event was successfully conducted in Singapore & Malaysia.
