• Provide Safe Place of work and safe egress.
• Responsible to Provide safe plant and equipment, inspect the services and replace machinery depend on the level of risk.
• Monitor to ensure safe system of work should be safe in all circumstances and appropriate review planning and control on the risk to maintain continuous safety method.
• Training Supervision to ensure competency.
• Identify potential safety issues, and recommend corrective actions as appropriate with follow up verification
• Overseeing Accident Reporting and Advice To Management On accident Prevention.
• Ensure safety records are maintained in accordance with PTC and regulatory requirements.
• Perform frequent safety compliance inspections of contractor work locations.
• Verify OSHA compliance for PTC and contractor equipment. Maintain records of inspection.
• Carrying out risk Assessment and Developed Safe System of Work And Permit Work System To Control Hazards.
• Perform substance abuse tests and investigations in adherence with the company’s substance abuse policies and procedures.
• Responsible to Sharing of Knowledge information and Get Feedback From The Workers Regarding Welfare Facilities, Best House Keeping, Fire Safety and Loss Prevention.
Promoted Positive Communication, Positive Safety Culture Of Health And Safety Matters.
Compliance Monitoring, Including, Work Place System and Measurement of Work Place Parameters e.g Noise To Assess the Effectiveness of the arrangement.
• Assists with any task required by management with approval from Line Manager and Prepared Weekly Progressive Report Regarding The Daily Activities Of Heath And Safety.
• Promote occupational health and safety within an organization and develop safer and healthier ways of working.
• Inspect workplaces and workplace equipment, such as scaffolding, to ensure they meet safety regulations and to identify hazards and risks.
• Ensure that workplaces conform with organizational procedures and safety standards
• Work with engineers and other professionals to ensure the safety of worksites and work practices.
• Ensure personal protective equipment (such as hearing protection, dust masks, safety glasses, and footwear and safety helmets), is being used in workplaces according to regulations.
• Ensure dangerous materials are correctly stored.
• Identify and test work areas for potential accident and health hazards, such as toxic fumes and explosive gas-air mixtures, and implement appropriate control measures.
• Ensure an organization is aware of, and complies with, all legislation relating to its duty of care, workplace activities and the use of its plant, equipment and substances.
• Record and report hazards, accidents, injuries and health issues within the workplace.
• Assist with the investigation of accidents and unsafe working conditions, study possible causes and recommend corrective action.
• Conduct training sessions for management, supervisors and workers on health and safety practices and legislation.
• Assist with the rehabilitation of workers after accidents or injuries and make sure they experience a satisfactory return to work.
• Coordinate emergency procedures, mine rescues, firefighting and first aid crews.
• Communicate frequently with management to report on the status of occupational health and safety program.
• Develop occupational health and safety systems, including policies, procedures and manuals.
Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety and environmental issues.
• Monitor advice and assist to ensure that safe systems of work and procedures are adhered to Promote client health, safety and environment requirements through awareness and monitor compliance with the said requirements.
• Assist with developing HSE plans that comply with Company policies and procedures as well as client requirements
• Ensure training, tool box meetings, and drills are implemented as part of the company’s offshore training and HSE program, i.e. emergency response systems, etc.
• Investigate and complete the process for close out of all Accident Investigation Reports and prepare/submit lessons learned to the Regional HSE Manager for promulgation to the management
• Manage Safety Statistic reporting within Singed Track and provide regular HSE performance reporting to the Dept head.
• • Make sure the necessary work permit prepared before begin the job
• • Carryout a weekly check on all fire alarm systems and function test.
• Inspect all firefighting equipment on monthly basis and record.
• Ensure that there are appropriate and sufficient safety signs in the department
• Ensure all worksites are HSE compliant with Company policies and safety standards.
• Support offshore HSE personnel’s in the development of work site HSE campaigns and good practices.
• Ensure that all evacuation assembly points are maintained and contain the relevant instruction / procedures.
• Daily site inspection and reporting unsafe act and condition to senior management level.
