Summary:
Responsible for logistics activities within the factory and drive cost reduction, service levels, through effective utilization of warehouse and logistics activities.while implementing cluster priorities and initiatives in the factory logistics areas.
tasks:
- Ensure goods receipts from suppliers and deliveries to customer
- Resolve issues that might arise with deliveries (in/out) at warehouse / port / customs / transportation company
- Administer and manage documentation for all goods in/out of factory (e.g., invoices, customs documentation)
-Implement and lead a good warehouse, transportation and logistics resource management in the factory (and outsourced if any)
- Ensure correct and timely reporting of KPIs for all metrics concerning the factory,
- Actively manage the factory warehouse team (e.g., performance management, personal development plan).
- Drive the expansion of WCM to eliminate logistics losses (both in costs and service level) impacting the factory, involving other stakeholders as needed (e.g., CSRs, Supplier Management, carriers, ...).
- Lead factory logistics, working with Customer Service and materials procurement to optimize internal and outsourced resources to maximize short and mid term capacity utilization and efficient usage of working capital
- Work with Customer Service to ensure proper FG inventory management and destribution
- Secure logistics quality of service towards customers, including claims and complaints management/root cause analysis/eradication.
- Proactively identify improvement opportunities and drive logistics activities at factory level for lowest possible total logistics cost (inbound, outbound, warehousing and customs duties) and improved service level.
- Manage factory logistics suppliers / contracts (e.g., with transportation companies, forwarding agents, 3PL warehouses if any) in collaboration with supplier management
- Support Procurement, Customer Service and Marketing for end to end SC performance improvement.
- Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the Warehouse day to day tasks efficiently
Plan and coordinate work, train and motivate, monitor, and evaluate performance of Warehouse employees based on respective PDP
- ensure operators ability to safely operate material handling equipments and conduct required training sessions
counsel, record, and discipline as necessary. Develop crew Leaders to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned crew Members.
- Coordinate with 3PL warehouses and set a weekly plan for material transfers and replenishments and as needed per production plan,
- Monitor the un/loading of all materials into the main and other 3PL warhouses to ensure materials are staged for counting and QC inspection
- Resolve discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, waybills, packing slips, storekeepers reports, cycle and physical counts
- Monitor the flow of paperwork from Receiving to Inventory Control for timely data entry.
- Oversee the movement of material from Receiving to the Warehouse in an efficient, effective, and safe manner.
- Oversee the supplying of materials to production and stage material for assembly and sub-assembly.
- Ensure materials are stored properly and in right condition to conserve space and comply with food safety procedures.
- Monitor and measure putaway operations, to ease locators ongoing revamp plan and keep saftey space available all the time
- Develop and recommend annual budget requirements for the Warehouse and Receiving Department.
- Anticipate and request funding for future personnel requirements.
- Anticipate and request funding for future material handling equipment.
- Perform other related duties as required
Duties:
Managing and follow through the daily work schedules of in/outbound operations.
Conduct weekly and monthly cycle counts, to ensure maintaining DC inventories levels.
Ensure dispatching goods on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantity.
Analyze existing distribution strategies and recommend improvements where needed.
Arrange quarterly 1 on 1 meeting to set and discuss DC staff individual objectives and KPIs and evaluate their performance accordingly.
Coordinate, negotiate contracts and evaluate freight services.
Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse
grounds.
Develop continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices with DC team members.
Duties:
Create effective distribution plans for goods and
materials to upcountry and local warehouses and
customers within the assigned region on a regular
basis. This involves planning for efficient delivery route plans.
Coordinate timely distribution of stock to company
branches by field team in line with distribution plan and quality protocols and give plan and administrative support where necessary.
Maintain accurate and updated proof of delivery
database and other records to provide timely
accountability for deliveries as well as information to facilitate warranty support.
Supervise the utilization and maintenance of assigned field resources and assets including MHEs and mobile computing devices.
Design and implement trainings and other interventions to address challenges in distribution operations.
Prepare regular and accurate status progress reports

Managing and releasing sales orders for picking via
Oracle R12 .
Managing and executing new inbound, B2B and customer returns receiving on Oracle R12.
Receiving customer calls and complaints and follow up with concerned party, department or employee to solve it.
