1- Managing contractor employees from several disciplines and different project teams to establish a clear objective and maintain smooth progress
2-Coordinating site activities between two or more subcontractors to avoid conflicts of any kind so critical path and milestone delivery dates are kept unaffected
3-Monitoring Construction & Material delivery Schedules as well as project budget to avoid cost overruns
4-Conducting daily site visits to verify presence of required supervision & validity of work permits, and to ensure compliance with safety standards.
5-Reviewing all required documents and ensuring they are attached to construction RFIs before proceeding with issuing final acceptance.
I work for the building department at SAIPEM as a building supervisor. My duties include but are not limited to: mentoring construction progress and activities done by subcontractors onsite, problem solving when faced with an obstacle concerning manpower or equipment, as well as coordinating between various departments to ensure a smooth procedure in order to to stay on track with the construction schedule.
