Monitor Customer Experience: Visiting dining tables to check on guests and make sure they are satisfied with food choices and service. Get opinions about the restaurant’s food, menu, ambiance, and other factors from customers
Oversee food presentation, ensure restaurant cleanliness, manage restaurant decor, and review customer survey responses to identify areas in which customer service can be improved.
Key Responsibilities as Assistant Restaurant Manager:
• Keeping Food, Beverage and Labor costs under control.
• Making sure the restaurant looks good and is ready for the day’s trading.
• Supervising a team of twenty five people.
• Receiving and checking the quality of goods from suppliers.
• Performing clerical and administrative duties to support senior managers.
• Increasing sales and customer service levels.
• Estimating general expenses, food costs and leakage.
• Negotiating the best deals with suppliers for items like food and wine.
• Planning budget, menu and live band events.
• Handling shift as a supervisor.
• Cash handling.
• Guest satisfaction.
• Training the staff.
• Daily task.
• Supervising Waiter/waitress.
• Implementing daily task and internal Audits
Greet the guests. I introduce myself and present any daily specials.
Take drink orders.
Ask for appetizers.
Ring in drink/appetizer orders. Fill and deliver all the drinks or pick them up from the bar and provide bread, appetizer plates, napkins, etc.
Take entree orders and pick up menus.
Ring in entree orders.
Deliver appetizer and/or salads (if applicable).
Deliver entrees and ask for any additional items that might be necessary.
Deliver additional items.
Check back to make sure food is satisfactory.

Deliver check.
Process check (run credit card, give change, etc.).
