• Review Mechanical drawings and materials such as HVAC, Firefighting, plumbing, Irrigation, Infra etc.
• Reviewing and Rectifying method statements, ITP, TQ, RFI, shop drawings, and as-built drawings, Mechanical calculations, and design verification.
• Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations for site and technical issues.
• Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
• Assist in coordinating the compilation of relevant documentation and the determination of actual events and situations causing contract delays and/or claims and in evaluating validity of claims.
Review technical material submittals, shop drawings and as-built drawings submitted by contractor for compliance with Contract requirements. Obtain engineering review and approval. Identify and report on discrepancies in original design or in contract documents which necessitate contract modifications. Review submitted construction, quality assurance and other procedures, and obtain necessary approvals.
Monitors multiple Contracts and associated construction contractors’ mechanical field activities for adherence to Contract requirements i.e. scope of work, procedures, costs, schedule, installation, testing and commissioning activities, including but not limited to the following systems; Conveyancing, Airconditioning, Plumbing, Sanitary, Fire Protection, Cooling, Ventilation, BMS and Safety regulations.
Worked as Technical Engineer, for different types of Projects like, Universities, Office Towers, Medical Institutions, Office buildings, mixed use towers, Site developments...etc. Coordination with MEP subcontractors for their progress of shop drawings/work and quality of work at sites. Follow up with Client, Conducting / attending meetings with Client / subcontractors and vendors to resolve pending issues.
Ensuring that the project is being delivered as per the company’s quality procedures. Ensuring the MEP drawings are well being coordinated with Architectural and Structural drawings.
My responsibility includes coordination, preliminary design concept, detail design, technical reports,
project specifications, attending meetings with client /owners, proposing proposals to site problems, In
the field of HVAC, Water Supply, Drainage, Fire Protection, and Irrigation systems. All these systems
are in reference with Standard code like ASHRAE, NFPA, UPC, UBC, SMACNA and Standard practice.
Worked for a period of Eleven months in Universal Refrigeration & Engineers Company (authorized
dealers for BLUE STAR) in Hyderabad, India.
