•Overall site control, coordinating a select team of site Mechanical & Electrical operatives. (Total 450 men
•Competent at ensuring all Mechanical / Electrical works were carried out to project specification within client program requirements.
•Fire fighting installation to Qatar Civil Defence Standards
•HVAC installation for all sub stations
•Responsible for planning, installation of underground cabling for 150 Hi Mast lights port side docking area.
•Responsible for planning and coordinating with Main contractor civil engineering department for installation of 22 KV supply from Qatar national electrical grid to 3 X port sub stations, including underground cabling, internal substation containment works to final termination.
•Assuring project installations met International Mechanical / Electrical construction regulations.
•Leasing on a daily basis with ABB project manager supplier of all 22 kV switchgear, Step up / Step down transformers, Zig Zag transformers and control and protection panels.
•Managing installation of 3 X backup generator buildings with a total of 8 Cummings Back Up generators
•Procurement of site materials, inspecting incoming materials & logistics of material movement.
•Man Management / Labour coordination, supervising works & technical problem solving.
•Leasing on a daily basis with Project Consultants ( Aecoms)
•Preparation of and management of method statements and risk assessment reports.
•Understanding & defining obligations contractually and co-ordinating with subcontractors.
