Freelance work for various companies.
Working as the Senior Designer in a studio of 3 designers and 1 Creative Director, with many external copywriters, photographers and brand strategists. The studios output was heavily focused on creating solid branding and producing corporate literature for a number of large international and national companies.
Short term contract: Managing a team of 7 designers across 3 locations for 7 different markets in the Pacific creating a structured studio hierarchy, improving the workflow process, and evolving the brand standards. The role was extremely diverse with overall responsibility from initial briefing, concepts, presentations, directing photoshoots, to design and final artwork. Based in Fiji I was flown to Samoa, PNG, Tonga and Brisbane to direct and produce a number of marketing campaigns.
Overall responsibility of the artwork for clients such as Virgin Media and Sky while also creating branding and signage for independent companies. The role involved working closely with groups of installers and substrate engineers using a range of printing techniques and materials.
Working as a senior designer and design consultant in various studios and companies in and around London. Also working privately as an Art Director and the sole designer for the launch of a new sports and fitness brand.
Involved in creating concepts for a large number of advertising campaigns, new business pitches, and designing extensively for the luxury market. Responsibilities included liaising directly with clients building a long term rapport and outsourcing artwork to printers, paper merchants and specialist finishing houses. Printing techniques included: litho, digital and screen printing, foiling, embossing, engraving, spot uv, and laser cutting.
Gaining extensive knowledge of a broad range of graphic design disciplines and print production while working to strict guidelines and responsibile of proofing on press in the UK and Europe. I gained considerable experience working with large Blue Chip clients including coordinating the Dior GWP (Gift With Purchase) promotion in over 30 UK stores (including Harrods, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols).
