Here I work on a Post Contract Project which is the Bluewaters Development Residential Project. This project lies in Bluewaters Island is a man-made mixed use island located off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Residence. Ain Dubai, the world’s largest observation wheel, forms the unique centrepiece of this development that is poised to become one of the world’s largest tourism hotspots.
My Duties and Responsibilities are as follows:
• Preparing tender and subcontract documents for subcontractors.
• Compilation, preparation & submission of the Project Monthly Interim Progress Application.
• Assisting Contract Manager in preparing Employer’s Representative Instructions correspondence to subcontractors.
• Assists Commercial Manager in identifying, measurement and evaluation of all VO’s & CO’s on the Project.
• Assisting SQS with preparation of the Project Cash-flow Forecast in conjunction with the Project Planner.
• Preparing subcontractors’ Payment Certificates and Final Accounts.
Here I work on a multitude of various projects as Pre Contract and Post Contract projects and manages all aspects of the Contract and Quantity Surveying. Projects that I undertake are as follows:
• Tendering of Life Support to UNMISS Logistics Base in Juba, South Sudan
• Tendering of Procurement & Construction of the Gas Treatment Plant Pad & Unit 280 Site Preparation with Access Road at the West Qurna Field (2nd Phase), Iraq
• Tendering of Civil Construction of Yamama Priority Well Pads & Roads at West Qurna, Iraq
• Post Contract works for Lukoil Commercial Camp Phase 1 Project at West Qurna, Iraq
• Post Contract works for Lukoil Pilot 60-Man Camp Extension at West Qurna, Iraq
• Post Contract works for Lukoil Custom Control Zone B at West Qurna, Iraq
• Post Contract works Third River Water Intake at West Qurna, Iraq

My Duties and Responsibilities are as follows:
• Preparing tender and contract documents, including bill of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
• Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
• Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements & feasibility studies.
• Performing risk and value management and cost control.
• Advising on procurement strategy.
• Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks.
• Preparing and analyzing cost for tenders.
• Allocating work to subcontractor.
• Providing advice on contractual claims.
• Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports.
• Valuing completed work and arranging payments.
• Conducting 3 point checks in paying the vendor & subcontractors.

My Duties and Responsibilities are as follows:
• Preparing Quantity estimates, Tender documents and the preparation and compilation of necessary information.
• Breakdown of Bills of Quantities of lump sum items.
• Providing accurate measurements as per issued Tender Drawings and Specification.
• Carrying out Monthly Valuation of work in progress.
• Surveying and measuring quantities required based on Issued for Construction Drawings
• Preparation and invoicing of interim payment applications to the Clients representative.
• Preparing subcontractors’ Payment Certificates and Final Accounts.
• Costing all Client variations and timely submittals
• Assists Technical Manager in preparing Cost Comparison for potential Suppliers and Subcontractors.
• Assists Contract Manager in providing quantities for variations and preparing Variation Orders.
• Compiling insurance claims and substantiation for incidents
Here I work on a Post Contract Project which is the Twin Oaks Tower. This project is a construction of 43-storey Condominium Twin Oaks Place Tower. Integrated with 7, 500 m2 of retail commercial space. Aside from its top-of-the-line design and finishes, it is also the country's "First Future Ready Home". Twin Oaks Place a fiber-to-the-home design via its fiber optic backbone and lateral wirings. My role here involves the following:
• Responsible for sourcing/buying, negotiating and identifying materials used in construction.
• Evaluate Bill of Quantities given by the requestor base on plans and specifications.
• Implement and maintain inventory policies to balance overall inventory through timely cancellation or reschedules.
• Evaluate suppliers offer to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Negotiate with possible Suppliers and Subcontractors to ensure compliance with Company’s business terms and cost targets.
I worked on a various projects like construction of Alphaland Southgate Tower, Eton Greenbelt Residences and Pioneer Woodsland. And my duties involve the following:
• Preparation of budgetary estimates based on contract documents and Bill quantities for all disciplines.
• Performed cost analysis and drew reports on changes to works and claims of contractors.
• Advised project staff on reviewing and drafting correspondence.
• Assisting in preparation of project purchasing targets and costing budgets.
• Procurement and analysis of Sub-Contractor and Supplier packages
Here I was in charge of all supervision and monitoring of Interior Fit-Out of a wellness center “The SPA”. I had the following responsibilities:
• Supervision of the construction of the project and insuring that all construction and installation works are implemented in compliance with all the drawings, specifications and other related contract documents.
• Conduct regular coordination meeting with the Client, the Architect, Consultants, Contractor and Subcontractors.
• Evaluate Bill of Materials prepared by the Contractor to ensure that all construction material will be needed and used in the project.
• Obtain the Architect and Client, additional details and information if and required at the jobsite, for proper implementation and execution of works.
• Evaluate the performance, workability and monthly progress billing of Contractor and Subcontractors.
• Being conscious of risks and areas of delay by implementing an early warning system
• Identifying scope of work gaps between tender and construction drawings
