● Provide office hours and on-call support for customers via remote resolution and other support channels including on-site operations as required.
● Periodic security scan of end user devices in other to eliminate perceived or found threats.
● Perform root cause analysis and resolve software issues in accordance with service level agreements.
● Analysis and resolution efforts with other product specialists (Microsoft, HP, Dell & Huawei).
● Information systems assets management lifecycle & vendor liaising.
Receives and stores information systems assets from vendors and issuance to appropriate departments/users.
● Operating system deployment and management including installation of software packages.
Special projects; configuration and deployment of end user devices based on formal analysis and requirements gathering of new MTN Nigeria offices and outlets nationwide.
●Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future desktop hardware needs.
● Conduct research on desktop products in support of PC procurement and development efforts; evaluate and recommend products for purchase.
● Write technical specifications for purchase of PCs, desktop hardware and related products.
•Ensuring availability, reliability and scalability of Windows Systems to meet company objectives.
•Maintaining a central IT inventory of all IT hardware and software. Eg Monitors, PCs, switches, etc.
•Where necessary, liaise with third party support and PC equipment vendors and ensuring that project task and goals are completed and achieved.
