Manage the project management office ensuring business standards and practices are upheld, whilst maintaining and improving profitability
• Coordinates with engineering discipline lead engineers and/or task force groups to ensure on time completion of work activities and the implementation of project control procedures.
• Reviews and closely monitors project schedule and costs.
• Provide project oversight, control and Value Improvement Practices
• Provide consultation and support services related to project management such as but not limited to cost estimating services, scheduling, best practices solutions, claim analysis, procurement, benchmarking and overseeing and reporting the healthiness of the projects that in developments and executions stages.
• Performs analysis on the negotiation strategy development and execution.
• Supports in the technical development and economic justification of capital programs, and alternatives to proposed capital projects.
• Support in the business plan and other related activities.
• Risk Management & Controls through reviewing risk registers & mitigation strategies
Responsible for all aspects of the project from engineering and design to project close out. Project Planning and Scheduling, Financial and Cost Management, Managing Technical Scope, Legal and Contract Management, Risk and Opportunity management, Procurement Management. Functional areas include Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV) and Modular Systems (Non Standard Packaged Solutions).
• Manage the project team ensuring project management processes and procedures are in line with the organizations directives and policies.
• Plan, assign and manage project resources based on competencies whilst ensuring that the area of responsibility is structured to fit the business model, is sufficiently staffed with adequately skilled resources and directed appropriately.
• Manage project team to ensure organizational goals and project milestones are met.
• Collaborate with department leads to define, prioritize, and develop project schedules and manage projects.
• Motivate, guide, and manage the development of the project team members.
• Continuously evaluating projects, conducting project reviews, identifying risks, and taking corrective action to ensure issues are escalated on time.
• Manage project revenue to ensure revenue recognition is in line with company policy.
Provide expert advice and guidance in project planning, project execution, and/or project control. Assist in resolving project management problems related to your area of expertise, including project planning deficiencies, project quality defects (in engineering, procurement, or construction), schedule slippages, and potential cost over runs. Work closely with project engineers and other project professionals to provide work direction and guidance. Formulate and implement strategies to improve project planning, cost, schedule, and/or quality. Evaluate existing tools and methodologies in your area of expertise and make recommendations on their implementation. Lead internal or external problem-solving teams as directed by management. Conduct training courses in your area of expertise. Train and mentor developing engineers and other project management professionals. participate in the development of standards, guidelines, instructions, policies and procedures on an as-required basis. Participate in the review and evaluation of the capabilities of EPC contractors, suppliers, and project management related service providers.

executing projects of varied complexities simultaneously. Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing

materials for selected solutions. Conduct site audits to ensure standards and quality is maintained. Manage
