At present these platforms include: MS SQL server, Windows NT/2000 server, IBM AS/400, Novell Netware 6 and UNIX. Development tools in use include, Visual Basic.Net, ASP, Perl, SQL Server frontends and HTML authoring tools such as Dreamweaver.
The major project started in 1995 When I was appointed to lead the development team engaged in Hospital information system (administrative, Financial and Clinical Automated function & utiliziation). The system was designed and built using OO techniques and client - Server . I was responsible for the formal analysis, specification and design of the system using Oracle relational Database with the flexibility of an MS window front end. The system developed in Arabic as well as English.
Since August 1997 I have been leading the development of a product for the retail Pharmacy sector. I was experience in developing software in Microsoft Visual based Software like Visual Basic, Visual C++ and Visual FoxPro, developed fully integrated Hospital system .My Project areas are Patient Profile & Related Data, Billing System, Accounting System, Admission & Discharge, Telephone reporting System (PABX - Private Automatic Branch Exchange), Human Resources, Material Warehouse, P.O.S. (Point of Sales System), Bar-coding and Biomedical related software etc.
Al-Mouwasat Hospital is the most modern Hospital (280 Beds) in Eastern Province (Saudi Arabia).
Development of interactive systems to allow the marketing department to create and manage campaigns, media, accounts and budgets. I was specifically responsible for the requirements analysis, design, programming and implementation for an Installation of file Servers, Developing Software, Installation software & hardware, Network cabling and maintain hardware. The system was a PC-based Windows client-server system using a Visual Basic front end linked to an Oracle database. Some routines were written in Oracle *C and *Forms.
Since Jan. 1994 I am assigned for new project developing software in Barcode Programming in Point of sale (POS). I developed software in Pharmaceutical Program (Point Of Sale System) and Computer readable identification cards, with patient file number. These software I used to developed in FoxPro & CLIPPER Program
My duties & responsibility was keeping the track of data, Data entry, Coding and Backing up data Etc. Other responsibilities are, Online control of the departments the and sub-department to receive and processing of incoming data, updating data file, purchase file, Material file, updating Administration file & Preparation of statistics and forecast of data file. Production Planning based on Purchase *& sales of material forecast & order etc.
