Nature of Work: Testing and Commissioning Engineer and responsible for Installation, Testing and Commissioning of underground HV & EHV ELECTRIC CABLES.
Testing and commissioning of underground power cables up to 132 kV.
Perform the following tests individually:
DC sheath test.
Phase verification through conductor and through sheath.
Shield break test for joints
SVL Integrity test.
Joint bay earth resistance test.
Link box contact resistance test.
Conductor resistance test.
Cross bonding verification test.
Verification of positive and zero sequence impedance test.
Involved in HVAC test, cable fault identification and pinpointing of 132 kV underground power cables.
Studying Tender documents and Tender Specifications
Material estimation
Planning and coordination with consultant/client Engineers and ensuring the work completion on time with quality.
Conducting meeting with client and consultant engineers to discuss and finalize mattes related to project.
Project Execution and conducting site inspection with consultant/client
Preparing Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reports.
All DEWA related paperwork including NOC and drawings.
Material reconciliation and invoicing
As Built drawing verification and submission in AUTOCAD.
Preparing documents for work completion certificate, arranging site inspection, clearing the snags to get the final work completion certificate.
Coordinating with client for 132kV power cable, Fiber optic cable, joint and testing activity.
Monitoring and co-ordination for all Electrical activities including Progress Monitoring as per planning, reviewing and reporting for projects, Pre-Commissioning test and Pin pointing and Pre location as per
standard follow up for materials required for site activities, preparation of As Built drawings, meetings
with the Clients / Consultants and Municipality authorities for clarification of design issues, co-ordination between the site and technical department.
