Managing the Contract and Claims management team from corporate office of various Oil and Gas Plant & Pipeline projects with a value ranging from 50 to 400 Million USD covering 10 major EPC projects including cross country pipelines, gas treatment plants, compressor stations, pump stations, refineries.
Upgrading of Project Control Standards/ Procedures /Formats/Guidelines to enhance effectiveness of Project Management, Contracts and Claims management in line with client requirement.
Analytical and logical thinking on Contracts and Claims issues & Conduct risk analysis.
Participation with vendors / subcontractors during their schedule development processes to meet our goals and advising site planners / PMT to integrate this schedule into the master network.
Create awareness among Project & Site Management about importance of letters/MoM which leads to claims.
Effective inter departmental communication within core team and project teams at home office and at site office.
Drafting Contractual letters, Negotiating and Drafting Bank/Corporate Guarantees, Letter of Credits, Insurance agreements...etc in line with concluded Contracts.
Interfacing & Coordination with consultants related to legal, financial and taxation, insurance matters.
Presentation to Management on the status of on-going contractual and Claims issues on international projects
Administration of Contracts and subcontracts, overall interfacing with Engineering, Procurement & Construciton departments, Subcontractors, Clients.
Formulating & vetting of WorkOrder and Purchase orders for various boughtout items(both imported & indigenous) in lieu with various types of letter of Credits for both domestic and foreign manufacturer/vendors.
Knowledge about Export and Import (EXIM or IMPEX)
Communicating, Negotiating with vendors, suppliers, manufacturers and clients.
Monitoring Progress via Primavera(P/6) and meeting scheduled deadlines and milestones.
Recognising work executed outside of Contract Scope.
Monitoring of costs against the original control estimates.
Advising management in time the possible control measures to execute the project within the budget and schedule.
Monitoring Invoice, Cash flow and budgetting of the project.
Reporting to Top management on MIS of all the projects of different sites.
Verified the critical paths that originate with either Engineering or Procurement activities in collaboration with the Construction schedule.
Preparation of Claim analysis, assessment and Management.
Drafting Contractual letter to Clients and sub contractor’s
Notifying Clients/Subcontractor for any deviation and process Variation Order.
Interpretation of Contractual responsibilities and obligation.
Preparation of Contractual Management Plan, Contractual Appreciation Document at pre-tendering and Post tendering stage.
Costing of claims, Arbitration and DRB process of various claims.
Quantifying Damages in accordance with the raised claim
Identifying risks, and how projects can be carried out most effectively by Conflict Resolution and Management thru’ Primavera e/c P3.
Minimising obligations and maximising entitlements
Worked as Resident Engineer for the Project of Construction of 4/6 laning of PUNE-SATARA section from km 0.000 to km 10.72. with Critical Structures Involved : i) Viaduct of 40mts Height. ii) Flyover for Diversion with obligatory Spans. iii)Tunnel of 7 .25mts with surcharge of 450mts
Worked as QA/QC Engineering for the project of Construction of Four laning and strengthening of existing 2-lanes of hosur -krishnagiri section from km 48.600 to km 94.000 with Critical Structures : i)Flyover with Pile Foundations, ii) Two Flyovers with Shallow Foundation with Reinforced Earth wall.
Completed my master degree at 63%.
Completed Bachelor of Civil Engineering in First Class (70%).
