Job objective: To control technical work activities and monitor SHE and Quality compliance and performance of company activities to achieve the requirements of the Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Management System.
Main duties
- Monitor the preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance projects’ activities and results.
- Supervise and collaborate in the preparation of maintenance projects’ actions.
- Register the information generated by the projects’ team; generate technical reports on breakdowns and failure of equipment.
- Analyze and propose improvements on the Client facilities, and projects’ sites and monitor its execution.
- Control the selection, and evaluate the maintenance and use of tools, spare parts and consumables.
- Perform incident evaluations to identify root causes for operational deviations
- Collaborate with Technical Director in the implementation of SHEQ policies, manuals and procedures.
- Carry out the Risk Assessment and promote the risk awareness amongst employees.
- Oversee and manage the activities to ensure compliance of all applicable operational and safety procedures, laws, policies, regulations and standards.
- Analyze work environment and design programs to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
- Promote good health, safety and environmental practices.
- Prepare or participate in incident investigations.
- Perform workplace safety audits and ensure that any remedial recommendations are implemented.
- Control the disposal of toxic and dangerous waste
- Prepare and perform specific SHEQ training plans and define and plan the staff training in the areas of its competence.
Trainind students in Health Safety and Environment and waste management for the Oil and Gas Industry, reporting directly to the Head of Department, have contributing to Curriculum development, delivery of teaching tutorials and providing personal academic support and mentoring for groups of students.
Developing Health and Safety programs and inspected workplace safety, tools and equipment to ensure compliance by all employees and trainees.
I served on the Health and Safety Committee as Chairman.
