Job Role: Category Procurement
- effective management of spend within the portfolio of assigned procurement categories;
- delivery and reporting of cost benefits against agreed targets;
- develop, implement and execute procurement strategy to generate best value for money
- responsible for the sourcing and management of strategic supply contracts on behalf of both Locomotive Department and Infrastructure Department to maximize economies of scale and any distinct requirements
- identification and implementation of benefits resulting from cross divisional synergies ensuring stakeholders interests are fully represented;
- ensure that costs are optimized through appropriate supplier rationalization and spend consolidation;
- engagement with stakeholders to ensure that procurement category strategies are aligned with business objectives and priorities;
- ensure the sourcing, contracts and processes agreed with suppliers are aligned with governmental policies, procedures and values;
- ensuring that cost, risk and compliance is managed through robust contracts with approved suppliers and that trading terms and conditions are aligned with legal governance, requirements and obligations;

Job Role: 3PL Projects Procurement Management
- providing stakeholders with alternative solutions to existing expensive sources related to warehouse management, logistics and transportation functions resulting to get cost efficiency
- liaising between transportation providers, customs, suppliers, manufacturers, importers and exporters
- engagement with stakeholders to develop, execute and track full supply chain of goods sourcing of MEP suppliers to provide warehouse maintenance
- managing development and execution of RFI's, RFP's and other sourcing events (bidding, tender) related to every stage of supply chain management
- leading sourcing and estimation of new suppliers for warehouse machinery, racking systems, packing and sorting equipment
