Reviewing and executing daily transmission & generation plans and schedules, based on
system security.
Reporting to the Head of Section any abnormality in the system.
Arranging routine outages with interconnected utilities.
Ensure the applying of all safety rules during planned activities or trouble shootings.
Achieve authorization as Control Entity as defined under Safety Rules to undertake
operation of High Voltage network equipment up to 500 kV as well as Low Voltage
equipment within the Substations.
Accurate logging of all transmission events (hard copy or soft copy).
Review abnormalities in the network and take immediate decisions to ensure supply
security..
Ensure compliance to the defined standards such as ISO.
Ensure effective handover process at the end of shift
-study and plan preventive maintenance schedule and prepare the detailed procedures as per vendor recommendation
follow up and supervise preventive maintenance
master plan
Follow up supervise and execute the corrective maintenance activities
Follow up spare parts orders and warehouse stock
Responsible of workers and technicians in his department
Coordination with other departments
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with
corporation policies and procedures .
