Accountabilities

Report to: Project Director

•Accountable for the successful outcome of solar PV EPC(M) projects from financial close through commissioning, energisation and handover
•Formal project management of EPC(M), Supplier and Sub-contracts including engineering, commercial and stakeholder aspects
•Reporting to the Director Projects, managing the project team (matrix structure) and work with Business Development, Construction Management, Engineering, Consultants, Customers and local authorities to ensure financial close and compliant project execution
•Manage and report on progress - scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, HSE, contracts etc.
•Implement, improve and maintain project management guidelines, processes, tools and procedures to ensure a structured project execution approach, minimize project risk and maximize performance
•Responsible for achieving contractual milestones and management of liquidity, schedule, costs as per EPC(M) contracts and project baselines
•Ensure full compliance with the QHSE regulations, legislation, standards, codes and requirements in related countries.
•Securing of environmental, grid connection and construction permits
•Supporting the EPC(M) contract negotiation
•Lead supply/ sub-contract negotiation, contract preparation, execution and management
•Primary interface to investors and customers following EPC(M) contract closure
•Responsible for Handover to the customer and Operations & Maintenance team.

•Scrutinised the contract drawings & specifications as well as bagged approvals for project drawings/materials.
•EPC and O&M contracting. Sub‐contracting management.
•Team leading with overall responsibility for administering and managing services, design and construction from BD/project acquisition phase to completion and commissioning/hand‐over
•Initiation, Plaining, Execution, Cost Control, Monitoring and close out activities.
•Handling all team with regard to Engineering, Logistic, Commercial, Execution, HSSE and Quality.
•Support the board in project budget structuring and cost‐control management (capex, opex).

•Close coordination with Lenders, IFC, Mott Macdonald upon Owner Request.

•Ensured effective follow up and timely implementation of Main Contractor/ Consultant Review comments.
•Effectively mapped all technical information required for the project as well as handled all installation and commissioning activities.
•Instrumentally involved in the placement of purchase orders on approved suppliers as per approved submittal in a timely manner.
•Demonstrated strong abilities in evaluating Sub-contractor’s work to ensure quality and progress of work as per schedule.
•Worked in close coordination with:
•Main Contractor / Client / Consultants to provide solutions affecting design developments / coordination matters.
•Planning Engineer regarding all aspects of programme of works and provided inputs for updating the schedules, look ahead schedules, etc.
•Ensured effective preparation of engineering documentation, as built drawing, operation and user manual as per contract requirement.
•Successfully completed all necessary Q.A. documentation related to the work under direct control and managed daily site inspections.
•Pivotal at creating marked up drawings for As-Built as well as ascertained all information on drawings are conveyed to the workforce in a proper manner and details produced, where required.
•Delegated tasks to the all Engineers, resourcing, crashing, focus on critical path with planning team

•Successfully handled SITC of Entrance Automation System, Pedestrian and Vehicle Management System, Parking Management & Guidance System.
•Offered strong Customer Relationship Management for positive referrals leading to additional profitable business and building up strategic tie ups.
•Contributed in attaining monthly TO / GM targets and giving inputs for monthly billing based on actual progress of work at site.
•Facilitated inputs to Quantity Surveyor on all aspects of contract changes and variations.
•Instrumental in joint goal setting of direct reportees’ as well as performed their formal appraisals & feedback sessions at least twice a year.
