Constantly monitor and maintain books of accounts
(GL, AP, and sub ledgers) accurately so as to reflect
true and fair view of performance.
Working with spreadsheets and journals.
Calculating and checking to make sure payments,
amounts and records are correct.
Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and
answering any queries.
Managing petty cash transactions.
Controlling credit and chasing debt.
Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
Answer incoming calls in a friendly and professional
manner, including taking calls about the utility
payment issues of the customers.
Assist the Financial Accountant, Project
Accountants and the Finance Director with any
other duties as required.
Coding and processing of supplier invoices in ERP (Oracle) system.
➢ Reconciliation of supplier Statement of Account on regular basis.
➢ Following up on credit notes issuance and ensures proper offset against payments.
➢ Ensuring that all invoices received are authorized for payment and the supporting documents are correct
and complete.
➢ Organized and processed accounts payable checks, wire transfers, ACH payments and LC payments.
➢ Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
➢ Dealt directly with banks in regards to payment inquiries, investigation and open issues.
➢ Advice suppliers with details of payments transferred once payment is released.
➢ Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
➢ Corresponding with vendors and respond to inquiries.
➢ Verification of petty cash vouchers for validity and accuracy.
➢ Prepares account allocation of petty cash vouchers.
➢ Prepares report of month end invoice accrual.
Monthly preparation of flash report to the management on time.
➢ Control over all Accounting and Financial matters.
➢ Handling and maintaining Accounts up to Finalization.
➢ Preparation of year ending Schedules and Accounts for Audit.
➢ Reconciliation of Bank, H.O, Branches, Debtors, Creditors and Stock.
➢ All kinds of Bank Transactions.
➢ Maintaining Purchase & Sales including Stock Register.
