• Conducting engineering disciplined HSE audits.
• Developing HSE activity plan, schedules and deliverables for projects.
• Confirming that HSE engineering practices and associated procedures are implemented in projects.
• Design, Installation and commissioning of fire & safety system and Breathing Air Cascade system various rigs.
• Redesigning of drawings according site conditions and standards (NFPA)
• Designing of breathing air cascade system according to customer’s requirements and international standards.
• Lead the team of HSE Officers for Refinery Projects.
• Manages and controls the implementation and execution of the overall project HSE objectives.
• Supports the overall constructive effort for HSE through regular interface with Clients.
• Develop project HSE strategies and provide leadership in the implementation of project HSE management systems in accordance with client requirements.
• Preparation of monthly HSE Statistics reports, Yearly HSE Reviews and Plans.
• Review Contractor’s HSE documentation. Monitor and ensure implementation of the Contractor’s approved HSE Plan.
• Provides guidance and consultation to the Contractors on the day-to-day HSEMS issues as required.
• Conducting Periodic HSE Inspection / Audits as per the annual audit/ inspection plan.
• Monitor project safety programme to ensure constructive progress through proactive planning.
• Enforces Clients HSEMS contractual requirements. Encourage Contractors to adopt Safety Standards and other industry best practices in HSE.
• Evaluate the Contractor’s HSE performance on an on-going basis and make recommendations for improvement.
• Evaluate and communicate the HSE performance issues on a timely basis and develop mitigation plans.
• Conduct accident / near miss investigations and ensure the implementation of preventive measures to avoid its recurrence.
• Ensure toolbox talks, safety alerts and HSE lessons learned from incident investigations are effectively communicated to the Contractor’s staff by the Contractor supervision and management.
• Provide training in various subjects like SCBA Systems, Basic Hydrogen sulphide, First Aid/CPR, Defensive driving, Authorised Gas Tester and Basic Fire Fighting.
• Conduct personal HSE Induction Training and other training to support individual and mandatory training required by the Client.
• Attend HSE meetings/ Conferences as required.
• Preparation of prequalification questionnaires for new bids and existing clients
• Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of emergency response plans (documentation, revision, testing & training)
• Reviewing and Redesigning of drawings in accordance with site conditions and NFPA standards
• Conducting safety trainings for various drilling rigs and contractors in oil & gas sector.
• Coordinating installation, commissioning and servicing of different safety equipments like F&G system, Fire alarm system and Breathing air cascade system
• Actively participated in developing HSE manual for the company and different contracts.
• Reviewing the JSA, JHA & SSW for different works and process.
• Conducting risk assessment studies.
• Enforce the use of safe work practices identified in risk assessments and work policies / procedures.
Involved in techno-commercial evaluation of various sub contracts.
Coordinated contractual claims, variations etc.
Change the tender drawing to shop Drawing according to NFPA code
Project Management support in Preparing Project Plan, Updating Plan, using PRIMAVERA
