• The overall network consists of Juniper MX 960 as MPLS core/provider edge router and Juniper EX4200/4300, cisco 3750/2960/4500 switches at access layer. In addition includes Juniper SRX 1400/3600/5600 as WAN and DC Firewalls and Aruba Mobility controller 7220 for wireless back hauling.
• Major MPLS clients are ADAC users by itself, SITA, Etihad, DFS and small entities include every business operational in airport.
• Responsible for overall network health monitoring and troubleshooting of any type of network issue at any airport under Abu Dhabi Airports Company.
• Troubleshooting the customer connectivity issues for VPLS, L3VPN services.
• Troubleshooting customer’s internet connectivity issues.
• Activating/ configuring new circuits and troubleshooting existing circuits for customers.
• Troubleshooting Access/ Distribution / Core layer issues.
• Troubleshooting wireless connectivity issue and provisioning new access points.
• Troubleshooting VPN connectivity issues,
• Allowing access to Data Center Resources by creating policies on Juniper Firewalls.
• Configuration of new Juniper EX virtual chassis and cisco switch stacks.

• Monitoring and troubleshooting the whole Group network spread across UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain.
• Responsible for the Corporate Routing, Switching, VPNs, UTM and Security.
• Network Consist of 40 + POPs as Hypermarkets and super markets spread across the 3 countries.
• Firewalls/gateways implemented are Juniper SRX 240, SRX 210, SSG 20, Cisco ASA 5520, SA 520, SA 540, Fortigate 200B, and 90D with Failover/HA implemented and Cisco 2811 routers.
• Switches include Juniper EX 4200P/T, 3300P/T, 2200T and Cisco Catalyst 4503, 3750G/E/X, 2960S/G and Aruba Wi-Fi Controllers.
• Work with vendor in network design and configuration for newly opened supermarkets and hypermarkets. Establish network specifications and security requirements; establish router and switches low level design including interface configuration.
• Responsible for trouble shooting routing, switching, Wi-Fi, Security and IPsec VPN related issue.
• Implemented the UTM features including antivirus and IPS.
• Conducting Preventative Maintenance routine (PMR) for the devices and upgrading the IOS/ JunOS/ FortiOS where required.
• Network Drawing, Documentation and IP addresses pools allocation.

• Web filtering on Fortigate units using Fortigate Single sign on (FSSO) agent between Fortigate unit and Windows AD.
• Network Monitoring by Installation and Configuration of MRTG, Nagios, Open-NMS, Cacti and Syslog.
• Implementation the QoS for video conferencing to enhance the VoIP and video quality.

 Assisting Assistant Director in the Regional Network Operations Center (NOC) activities for the monitoring, configuration and troubleshooting of 40+ National Registration Centers consisting of Cisco ASA 5510, Cisco 2600 Series, and Cisco 3600 Series Router and Cisco 2900 Series switches, Juniper SSGs.
 Assisting Assistant Director in Designing, Implementing and configuring the new projects remote sites throughout the region for network connectivity, and LAN Implementation using Windows PPTP, and Juniper SSG20.
 Configuring the Regional Head Quarter Switches, Routers and Firewalls for Routing, VLANs, Security and VPN connections.
 Allowing the access of the Project Sites and registration centers to the HQ NDW servers through ACLs.
 Troubleshooting the leased line issues between RHQ and HQ.

Brief over view: Prepared Electoral Rolls for Election Commission of Pakistan in 3 Phases.
• Citizen Damage Compensation Project(CDCP) -Wataan Card
Brief over view: ATM card issuance for Flood Effectives’ verified beneficiaries based on data gathered by Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA)
• Arm License Project(ALP)
Brief over view: Revalidation of Arm Licenses issued by Ministry of Interior and issuance of Computer Aided License (CAL)
• Benazir debit Card Project (BDCP)
Brief over view: Issuance of ATM cards to BISP Beneficiaries identified by Benazir Income Support Program (BISP)

 Worked under the umbrella of Detecon Al Saudia for the Operation and Maintenance of the Saudi Telecom Company MPLS Domain.
 Responsible for troubleshooting and monitoring connectivity issues regarding Cisco’s CRS-I, 7613, 7609 Series and other Routers deployed as Provider, Provider Edge and Aggregate Routers in IP-MPLS Core Domain of Saudi Telecom.
 The Network consist of Cisco’s CRS-I, 7609, 7613, GSR, ME3400 Routers etc.
 Network Events and Alarm Identification, troubleshooting, and isolation in coordination with company NOC & STC NOCs.
 Produce periodic reports about the routine activities and network performance including running circuits.
 Perform IP/MPLS services’ implementation covering the installations, provisioning, testing and handover. Document complete records of provisioned services with activation dates.
 Completed Inventory collection Phase of Routers and Link (STM-64) Verification Phase of P-P, P-PE and EA routers between different cities passing through SDH systems (Surpass HiT 7070 of Siemens) and DWDM system of Lucent(OLS 400G), and Huawei(BWS 1600G).
 Troubleshoot the IP-MPLS links issues passing through dark fiber and SDH/DWDM Nodes in coordination with DNOC and TNOC.
 Troubleshooting the client link issues of NGN MSANs, DSLAMs and others MPLS clients.
 Performing the routine PMRs for the nodes of IP-MPLS Domain.
 Performing PAT/ HOTO for the new installed devices in the MPLS domain.
 Attending MDT/TC for the Cisco routers link failures, faulty units and IOS up-gradations etc.
 Updating and refereeing Trouble Tickets (TT) using Remedy Trouble Ticketing System (RTTS).

 Assisting Senior Network Engineers in deploying Network Projects for clients consisting of Cisco 2600 Series, Cisco 2800 Series, Cisco 7200 Series, Cisco 3600 Series Routers, 200 Series, 2900 Series Switches, RV Series VPN Routers and ASA Firewall etc.
 Initial Configuration of Routers, switches firewalls and VPN gateways for VLANs, STP, VRRP, Routing (Static, RIP, OSPF, BGP), Inter VLAN routing, NAT, PPoE over ADSL, IPSec VPNs, Frame Relay, PPP, Security ACLs, Policies etc.
 Carrying out Preventive Maintenance and upgradation of the Client’s Devices covered under SLA.
 Troubleshooting Routing, Switching, Security and VPN issues encountered by Clients in Head Office / Remote Branches.

• Installation and configuration of the Network for the Faculty of Economics at Fatima Jinnah Woman University Islamabad.
• Installing Cisco 7200 VXR as B-RAS in the existing setup of Cybernet ISP, Islamabad
• New Braches Setups and integration of PICIC commercial bank with NIB Bank Pakistan.
• Setup of the whole Infrastructure for the new building for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited Pakistan, Peshawar Regional Office.
