Responsibilities in WOQOD
• Well aware of Contract Management Standards such as Guiding Principles, Pre-Award, Award, and
Post- Award, Claims, Extension of Time, and other parts of contracts.
• Contracts Write Up
◦ Draft and review contracts forms and templates, often adding or changing clauses according to
tender/ project requirement.
◦ Assist user department in updating, monitoring and maintaining contract status reports and provide
management with information related to contract i.e. status/ progress, contract expiration dates, etc
◦ Develop the Contracts Forms for different type of Services in compliance with policies and
procedures.
◦ Develop and ensure the implementation of approved policies and procedures by all the contracts
staff.
• Contracts Monitoring
◦ Gather information with respect to the status of on-going contracts and share that with contract team
leader to issue the periodical status reports.
◦ Receive and safeguard original documents, bonds and performance guarantees from bidders/
contractors and pass to the appropriate custodian.
• Committees and Meetings
◦ Participate in the Joint Tender meetings to provide clarifications related to the tender or bidders
◦ Arrange in conjunction with the contracts analyst any pre-tender meetings as required with bidders
and user departments so that they can present their questions and answer any queries
◦ Participate in the tender negotiation meetings with bidders.
◦ Participate in contractual and commercial meetings with Contractors on variations and claims.
• Continuous Improvement
◦ Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into
account international leading practice, improvement of contracts terms and conditions,
improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
• Handling Subjects and Contracts Values
◦ Service Contract for Natural Gas Projects on Call-off Basis for a Period of Five \[05\] Years. (QAR
1.2M).
◦ Maintenance of Existing Building Management System (BMS) at FRS, QJET MFF/WFF and HIA on
Call Off Basis for the Period of 3 + 2 Year (Optional). (QAR 1 M).
◦ Upgrade, Implementation, License Renewal and Maintenance Support for ManageEngine Endpoint,
with Bundled Support for a Period of 4 Years. (QAR 0.9 M) Upgradation of (QAR
1.9M). Consultancy Services for Benchmarking and Assessment study related to Stage-2 Vapor Recovery
for WOQOD Fuel Stations. (QAR 700K) Support Renewal for Extreme Networks (Switches, NAC & XIQ) Call off
basis for a period of Five \[05\] years. (QAR 1.98M).
◦ Removal, Supply and Installation for the Foam Tanks at Doha Depot. (QAR 0.8M).
◦ Upgrade, Implementation, License Renewal and Maintenance Support for ManageEngine Endpoint,
with Bundled Support for a Period of 4 Years. (QAR 0.99)
◦ Supply, Installation and Support for New Application of Aviation Fueling Management System
(AFMS) - on the basis of Service Level Agreement for the period of 74 months. (QAR 0.85)
◦ Supply, Installation, Removal, Integration, Upgrade and Maintenance of Lenel Access Control
System on Call Off Basis for a period of five \[05\] years. (QAR 2.5M)
◦ Design, supply, configuration, implementation, and commissioning of Application Security Testing
Solution for a Period of Five (5) Years with bundled support. (QAR 1.9M).
◦ Services for Inspection and Certification of Lifting Equipment at all WOQOD Facilities on Call Off
