• 15+ years of solid IT & Operations experience in Payment systems, Software analysis and development.
• Lead & Manage one of the most diversified and heterogeneous departments in a leading Public Share Holding company, with two divisions IT & Operations and four sub-divisions through initiating, developing and overseeing all the projects, processes, functions and procedures related to IT & Operations.

• Managing/Steering all critical projects related to IT & Operations on company level:
o Migration to full MasterCard CHIP Issuing and Acquiring
- The project was done fully in-house making it one of the most important success stories at ICC.
o JCB Chip acquiring
o Replacement of ICC’s Core Payment System/CMS into a Gartner rated, PA-DSS compliant system
• Creating a new processing & data center from scratch
• Increase ICC Services, Sensitive Data & Infra-structure stability, efficiency and availability
• Reduce IT Budget
• Strengthen ICC information & infrastructure security by adopting latest security standards in the industry named “PCI DSS”, and launching a PCI certification project with one of the largest companies in the market that offer this service.
• Drive operations automation and minimize human errors by creating, building the requirements and overseeing the in-house development of several critical applications
• Oversee and Manage all processes, functions and procedures related to IT & Operations:
o Daily Operations:
Start of Day.
Exchanging & Processing daily files
Card Production process
Full Merchants management
Validating, Approving and processing all system entries from all departments
Voice Authorization and Mail Order.
Reconciliation.
Administering IT Infrastructure (PCs, Servers, Network Components and Security Devices).
Administering DB’s.
Monitoring all systems logs and security systems activities.

• Member of the Software Development team involved in creating the third generation of the companies Time Attendance and Access Control systems.

• Managing/Leading the Archiving System Development project including:
o System Analysis.

o System Delivery and Implementation.

Deployment & Implementation of the archiving system in Damascus Municipality where it is used as the main and only archiving system to archive all kinds of documents used within the Municipality
- Awarded the “Certificate for Extraordinary Student” by the Ministry of High Education during my fourth year for being one of the top three students. - In 2000 I represented my University in the sixth exhibition of Information Technology and Communication “SHAM 2000” with my forth year project named “Monitoring and controlling distributed and various stations by a network of smart sensors” - In 2001 I represented my University in the seventh exhibition of Information Technology and Communication “SHAM 2001” with my fifth year project named “Using the benefits of LAN networks in order to monitor and control PCs”
