5.Review operational data from the affected GTs or other similar frame applications to identify the current operating characteristics that will be used as a benchmark for the development of control system enhancements, utilizing PI, Excel, or other data acquisition software.

6.Prepare design documents, specifications, work procedures, checklists, validation or test plans, and as-built drawings per our procedures that are required to achieve the operational improvements. Provide diagnostic support for the resolution of issues by performing root cause analysis and recommending improvements to control system logic or hardware, including HMIs, CPUs, software, instruments, and actuators.

7.Support communications with control system engineers to obtain consensus on logic and hardware modifications and to promote unified control system applications. Make suggestions for product and service improvements that will increase customer satisfaction with our products and services.


8.Support ISO 9001 audits and compliance efforts, and, where possible, and enhance the documentation.

1. Identifies and assesses unique business/commercial/technical risks associated with Assigned projects and provide solution.

- Works with project engineering to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations. The Reliability Engineer is responsible for adhering to the Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM) process throughout the entire life cycle of new assets.

- Assist in ensuring all relevant engineering standards and procedures are followed during project phase, plant operations, repairs and alterations by in-house and contract resources. 


Policies, Processes & Procedures:
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of Reliability Engineering design, system upgrades and maintenance at MWSPC Plant sites to ensure all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering the appropriate quality and targeted reliability requirements in a cost-effective manner.

Maintenance for Shutdown and Turnaround:
- Assists with the planning, execution and cost control of shutdowns and turnarounds to meet Reliability Engineering design and maintenance, and MWSPC Business Plan objectives. 
- Ensure the spare parts; manpower and equipment are available for the efficient and timely completion of shutdown and turnaround activities.
- Identify and manage critical Reliability Engineering spare parts and all maintenance tools including specialized tools needed for shutdown or turnaround maintenance.

Budgets and Plans:
- Assists in the Preparation statistical cost estimates for budgetary purposes including outlining modifications and change impact on the Capex to project and equipment.

Health, Safety and Environmental:
- Promote a culture of “Safety First” as reflected by low accident and incident rates.
- Ensure implementation of the operational HSE Management System to ensure all MWSPC staff observes standard HSE processes and operating procedures.
- Participates in Emergency Response and Command activities as required.
- Ensures that all reliability personnel and contractors are fully briefed and trained on MWSPC’s HSE regulations and adhere with them.

Responsibility for project development: preliminary engineering to detail designs to construction and the final and safe turnover to proponent.

Manage contractor preparation of detailed design drawings, material specifications and procurement, and/or construction bid packages.

Manage General Engineering Services (GES) design contractor activities during the development of project proposal, include definition of project work scope and schedule requirements.

Development of detailed estimates leading to funding appropriation and approval. Develop and preparation of contracting plan and strategy for solicitation, evaluation and award of contract for detail engineering, procurement and construction.
