Duties & Responsibility:
Administer the full cycle of awards management activities from project awareness sessions, pre-award assessments monitoring/compliance visits, proposal assessment, granting and follow up procedures; to ensure the successful implementation of the grants programs
Manage and supervise my team including developing field work plans, hold regularly staff meetings and supervise work progress in each Governorate using the CBO summary sheets and organizing staff deployments, leave and so on.
Carry out field visits on a regular basis to support community grants officers to effectively perform their duties and promote a strong team spirit.
Provide leadership, guidance, training and technical assistance to community grants officers on implementation of new grants.
Conduct staff evaluations for community grants officers as appropriate.
Continue enhance guideline manual and templates for sub-grant award documents under CBIWDM programs.
Participate in developing & design M&E activities, action plans and use suitable M&E tools.
Write monthly reports documenting work carried out in the field; including updated program summaries, and supervise that the community grants officers write such reports as well.
Duties & Responsibility:
Conduct training in proposal writing in all 12 governorates.
Supervise water communal projects in the communities include implementation follow up, technical advice, monitoring bids and awareness campaigns.
Networking between CBOs and government agencies and private sector.
Duties & Responsibility:
Contribute and participate in the planning and implementation of the Project Awareness Sessions (PAS), Proposal Orientation Workshops (POW), Awarding Ceremonies, Peer-to-Peer visits, and Symposiums throughout the life of the project.
Conduct Assessment Visits to CBOs that have submitted proposals and write a field visit report.
Assist the CBOs in the designated Governorates in implementing the procedures and systems outlined in the "CBO Loan Management Manual" including helping establish Loan Management Committees and in evaluating loan applications and selecting loan beneficiaries.
Support CBOs in securing appropriate guarantor documentation and advice on steps to be taken by LMC if loan beneficiaries are delinquent.
Provide support including on-the-job training, supervision and monitoring of recipient CBO revolving loan funds.
Conduct frequent field visits to recipient CBOs and loan beneficiaries and their individual projects and compile reports on such activities.
Follow up and receive awarded CBOs’ monthly and quarterly reports, review, prepare cover page, make sure the data is entered into the database and filed properly according to the established filing system.
Contribute to the design and maintenance of the CBO sub-grant tracking system database, specifically focusing on loan beneficiary information needed to track loan disbursements and repayments.
Compile progress reports on CBO revolving loan fund performance and assist in identifying when CBOs are facing challenges managing their loan portfolios. Notify project management if CBOs have delinquent loan beneficiaries.
Contribute and participate in the planning and implementation of the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) activities in the regions that have been nominated to implement the “Integrated Water and Energy Management pilot projects” in and leading an awareness campaign to introduce the main objectives of the project.
And also participate in the following Teams:
Monitoring Team: coordinate monitoring of all project activities, communicate to various teams and management when benchmarks and indicator targets need adjustment, and provide data for non-financial reporting to MC and donor.
Technical Support Team: Coordinate all technical support to CBOs, including capacity building (formal training, on-the-job and peer-to-peer interactions), water interventions and construction components
Working on Community Based Initiatives for Water Demand Management (CBIWDM).
Contribute in developing implementation, monitoring and evaluation plan for the Qudorat project.
Evaluate the eligibility of CBOs for funding.
Prepare pre-fund report which was considered as a baseline to access the CBOs to be funded.
2004-2007 Extension Agent and demonstration site Manager
Academy for Educational Development (AED) at Jordan Valley. This is a USAID funded project locally known as KAFA'A aims to increase water use efficiency.
Duties & Responsibility:
Assist farmers in irrigation system design (sprinkler and trickle).
Supervise the establishment of the demonstration site.
Irrigation scheduling and assist local farmers to schedule irrigation in their own farms by using new techniques like (Tensiometer & Watermark).
Assist farmers on Overall agricultural operations \{land preparation, crop planting, fertilizing(compose compound fertilizers from mono fertilizers)…etc\}
Organize and hold field days & deliver presentations; where all farmers can see new ideas being successfully used in the demonstration site.
Providing monthly report of accomplished works and activities.
Work with my team on Social Marketing Campaign & farmers' awareness about water use efficiency; that’s through: (workshops, brochures, fact sheets &Radio, TV programs).
