Develop and provide complete tender documents such as Mechanical system drawings (HVAC, Plumbing &Firefighting),
Calculations, Technical specifications & Bill of quantities (BOQ)
Review of Submissions such as Material Approval Request, Shop Drawing, Construction Plan & Schedule, Method
Statements, Pre-Qualification of Subcontractor, and Calculation for the selection of Equipment etc. related with the
Electrical and Special systems conforming with the Project Requirement and as per the local and authority guidelines
Supervising on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the stipulated time & cost and effective
resource utilization to maximize the output
Conceptualizing and preparing detailed engineering drawings for designing the air conditioning, ventilation, drainage,
firefighting, smoke extract and plumbing system while leading a team of draftsman
Calculating the:
o Heating & cooling load using HAP 4.50 Carrier software
o Pump head & ESP for fans
o Pipe size and pump capacity of chilled water systems
o Pipe size and pump head for plumbing
Performing the air flow duct sizing as per SMACNA / DW144 standards and chilled water pipe sizing as per “ASHRAE”
standards
Developing and selecting the:
o Heat recovery wheel, FCU, AHU staircase pressurization fans, CHW pressurization units & inertia base calculation
o Fire pumps, sprinkler, hose reel & landing valve for wet riser system as per NFPA standards
Supervising on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the stipulated time & cost and effective
resource utilization to maximize the output
Generating BOQs for the project and ensuring smooth operations and monitoring of project
Interacting with the client, developing effective understanding and freezing the technical specifications
Executing the MEP inspection with client and consultants
