1-Support development of cost estimate during proposal phase:

-Leading activity to ensure that qualified suppliers / subcontractors are being identified to meet business requirements in accordance with standard Honeywell policies, engaging the engagement team where appropriate.
-Develop relationships with local suppliers / subcontractors to achieve business results.
-Issue/Manage Request for Quotation, and bid review and evaluation activities to ensure business objectives and Honeywell requirements are met.
-Work with the Estimating team & business to help manage 3rd party scope as well as other procurement aspects (i.e. terms & conditions, supplier solvability, etc)_ Assist Procurement Specialist in negotiating with suppliers / subcontractors where necessary.
-Use applicable negotiation strategies to achieve savings, including the use of a reverse auction tool set as a part of competitive bidding
-Encourage use of HWL preferred suppliers and use of negotiated catalogues by operations estimating team.
-Represent Supply Chain in estimate and risk & opportunities review prior to project bidding, to ensure compliance with standard Honeywell policies and approval requirements.

2. On-going project / service activity:

-Participate in on-going project status reviews to understand the impact of any supplier / subcontractor issues on the business, and implement corrective actions in cooperation with Operations, if necessary.
-leading in auditing business purchase activity in accordance with standard Honeywell policies.
-Ensure the procurement activities in line with the EMEA procedures and processes in compliance with PMT procurement Policies, and quality requirements
- Work closely together with Legal and Contract management for supplier contracts (i.e. Terms & Conditions) & negotiate with suppliers the acceptance of Honeywell terms
- Manage team up with local buyers, category & Commodity managers and work as team
-Lead internal and external audits on procurement procedures
-Participate in customer & project review meetings or site visits as procurement team member
- Handle and control the change management requests in close collaboration with the project manager
-Schedule and organize Supplier audits and inspections to proof reported progress
-Support the expediting and inspection needs on the project

3. Supply Chain initiatives:

- Drive implementation of Common Process/Systems, and other supply chain initiatives as required.
- Lead projects to drive indirect spend consumption reduction.
- Lead projects to drive working capital gains, including inventory reduction and accounts payable improvements.
-Manage regional procurement team to achieve regional productivity targets
