Key Result areas:
•Coordinating procurement activities for the category with team and providing guidance on achieving the targets.

•Negotiating and supporting management in closing price agreements to meet KPIs.
•Identifying risk, minimizing exposure and working closely with external stakeholders to define and implement risk-mitigating actions.
•Working with counterparts in all Mattex SBUs to introduce and implement new vendors
•Supporting on purchasing department budgets.
•Resolving vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
•Whenever delegated, represent company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
•Reviewing, evaluating, and recommending for issuing and awarding bids.

•Monitored the market price movements for commodity in local & international market and trading hubs
•Led the supplier selection, Request for Proposal (RFP) projects and negotiation process to deliver agreements
•Followed-up for documents and consignment clearing on time for imported materials
•Generated MIS report of material for management review after month closing
•Tracked stock levels using SAP databases and checked inventory to increase inventory turns, reduce waste or optimize customer service
