As a Sales & Marketing Intern, I was responsible for the following:
- Assist with designing and executing Sales & Marketing campaigns in the designated areas.
- Support the Sales team to research for new leads and develop prospect list.
- Maintain & update business contact information.
- Assist the marketing department to develop, write & edit collateral, including website postings, email newsletters and press releases.
- Assist with tradeshow planning and creating related materials.
- Assist with developing trade media and PR plans.
- Support the development of new & innovative marketing collateral.
- Conduct market research as needed.
- Attend meetings with team members to understand the business & projects.
- Take on additional responsibilities, as needed.
- Represent ZF ME at trade fairs, summits and events along with the other team members.
- Gather market information and data about competitors.
- Help in market evaluation and market development in territories which are not actively covered by the current sales structure. Predominantly GCC region.
As a Marketing Consultant my duties were (but not limited to):
- Participate in product development, consultant relations, industry research and evaluation, product reporting as well as client service.
- Perform as internal source for advertising or marketing communication along with brand management strategy and processes
- Prepare training curriculum plus best practices suggestions to implement by marketing as well as distribution team.
- Perform as company’s advisor with respect to marketing.
- Supervise, develop, direct and lead Marketing Communication team.
My key role as a Senior Project Manager was to raise funds for the NGO via proposal writing; I raised over 10m US$ in funds for MCPA. Furthermore, I was responsible for report writing, evaluating project life cycle with help from the Operations Department, internal audit reports, internal & external communication, and supervising the budget requirements.
