>Adopt measures to ensure compliance to HSE requirements as per the contract and avoid penalties due to noncompliance in the projects.
> Ensure that no man days are lost due to HSE issues.
> Conduct weekly meeting to make site staff aware of all safety aspects.
> Coordinate with client’s representatives to ensure smooth and accurate flow of work.
> Attend HSE related project meetings with subcontractors, client’s project execution team and management.
> Support in the implementation of project safety plan.
> Communication, and Advise on the potential hazards on the site.
> Maintain and apply knowledge of current HSE policies, regulations and industrial best practices.
> Conduct tool box meetings and educate the workers regarding safety standards, hazards and measures to be taken for prevention.
> Conduct periodical trainings (chemical handling, fall protection, electrical equipment handling, working at height etc.)
> Maintain the assigned projects as per approved project HSE plan.
> Complete daily checklist as per client standard and maintain the record for future reference.
> Report and rectify Hazards and unsafe things to client and safety department.
> Ensure relevant permits and before starting any critical task.
> Submit monthly and weekly project HSE report as per requirements.
> Adhere to HSE responsibilities as per QCS-2014.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. To assist in the development of the project safety plan.
2. Support in the implementation of project safety plan.
3. Support, monitoring and supervision of implementation Project safety plan of various safety procedures on site.
4. Hazard identification and communication, and Advise on the potential hazards on the site.
5. Conducting various training classes.
6. Check proper maintenance, calibration and operation of all safety equipment.
7. Check and ensure that all the equipment has been tested by 3rd party and the operators are certified.
8. Check the site security and the facilities of the site.
9. Report any deficiency to HSE manager or corrective measures.
10. Equipment maintenance and record keeping.
11. Co-ordination with manger in safety meetings with client and contractors and subcontractors.
12. Inspection of site to ensure a hazard free environment.
13. Monitoring the behavior regarding safety and to conduct the training according to that.
14. Keeping the record of training.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Conducting general HSE inspection on site and compliance report.
2. Actively monitor the contractor HSE performance against the contractual, legal requirements and project standards.
3. Review of contractor HSE documentation for compliance to relevant standards, track the closure of HSE inspection reports that are issued to the contractor incident investigation and monitor the implementation of any identified corrective or preventive action.
4. Report on the implementation and effectiveness of the SMS on site teams, conduct HSE meetings and preparing HSE information and advice for staff and subcontractors. Works follow up as per approved progress.
5. Respond to the client through its project management team and consultant all significant HSE findings.
6. Executing and supervising the work as per the scope and stages of construction, and site work inspection as per approved shop drawing.
7. Studying the scope of works based on the approved contract document.
8. Responsible for the preparation and review and maintenance of needed records and statistical data for company reference and as required to the client.
9. Reviewing and approving subcontractor safety documents such as HSE plans, emergency plan and risk assessment.
10. Preparing weekly and monthly reports with submission to the corporate HSE manager on conducting site inspection and issue observation report to concern person.
11. Promote awareness of injury prevention and damage control to all level of employees, ensuring that PPEs are worn by all the employees and during working hours in accordance with hazards identified in the work place.
I was a trainee engineer there in POF where I have visited and supervising the different project in the field of production... the factory is the top factory of Pakistan.
