• Corporate Banking & Finance
- Determining group short & long term funding requirement, negotiating with the banks to secure the funding, negotiating its pricing, covenants, terms and conditions.
- To manage and expand the existing relationship with the banks in GCC and India.
• Treasury & Liquidity management
- Preparation, monitoring, revision and control of cash flow for projects, trading & other activities
- Managing the group working capital requirement, identifying surplus and channeling it for meeting the group requirement.
- Hedging of forex and interest rate exposure
• Trade Activities - Overseeing the trade department responsible for managing group trade finance (import/export LC & Guarantees) for projects, trading and other business.
• Accounts, Audit & Compliance
- To ensure accurate and timely preparation and finalization of group consolidated financial statement
- Member of group Audit committee entrusted with the task of group external audit
- Overseeing compliance of external and internal audit reports and financial and non-financial bank covenant
• Business Planning, Budgeting & Analysis
- Preparation of entity wise budget, its implementation and variance analysis.

- Fixing of KPI for finance function
• MIS - Overseeing the MIS department responsible for preparing reports for shareholders, management and banks.

• Process, IT and Internal Control
- Initiate and implement Change management within the finance department to improve efficiency of the department
- Established SOP for various functions and processes to streamline operations and implementing such changes including writing of procedures and policies manual for the group
- Study and implementation of system to support the finance function.
