Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for managing workshop functions and day-to-day workshop activities.
2. Responsible for the development and update of system procedures, method statements, work instructions and check lists related to the workshop operations, Plant maintenance support services and for the maintenance of workshop assets, reports.
3. Ensure systems, procedures and standards are followed for all workshop related activities, generate records for proper documentation, estimation of man hours, material and resources.
4. Coordinate various internal and external audits including certification and compliance for ISO systems and standards..
5. Responsible for all type of Machine Maintenance including preventive maintenance and Lubrication of Machines.
6. Working knowledge and experience in the areas of fabrication and welding, machine shop, managing tools and consumable store.
7. Coordinate with plant operations, maintenance, warehouse, procurement and commercial departments and other contractors, third parties, vendors and service.
8. Enough knowledge about the Safety in the Machine Shop.
9. Knowledge of all processes of Lathe Machines, Milling Machines, Bend Saw and Radial Drill Machine.
10. Having a wide Knowledge of Drawing Study and Components of Manufacturing as per Drawing.
11. Ensuring all components produced meet specifications using appropriate measuring equipment Such As: Inside Micrometers, Outside Micrometers, Digital Vernier calipers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges.
12. Supports Sales Team as per instruction of management.
13. Responsible for selection and Improvements in Tools and Machining Processes.
14. Co-ordinates to Procurement Department regarding availability of Tools and Raw material.

1. Monitoring Plant Installation activities of “DAEWOO PAK MOTORS” Includes: Installation of Transfer Rail, Hoist Cranes, Arc Welders, Pneumatic Tools, Mixing Machines, Electric Cutter, Jigs, fixtures, Winches, Running Rail, Gantry Beams, Pillars etc.
2. Monitoring Production activities at Frame, Chassis & Body Line and preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs’) & Work Standard Sheets (WSS) for each Process.
3. Production control (the sequencing of jobs, updating production schedules, etc), stock control, quality control and the maintenance and replacement of production equipment.
4. Review and analyze production and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operating or production problems.
5. To analyze root cause of defects and issuance of Feed Back to concerned Department and also suggest countermeasures.
1. Monitoring Operation and maintenance of Catter pillar Generators.
2. Supervise maintenance of Water circulation Pumps, Radiators, Cooling Towers and other auxiliary equipments.
3. Monitoring control & follow-up of cooling towers installation progress.
4. Monitoring Heat recovery system & maintain proper Temperature for Chillers.
5. Generate concise and meaningful reports related to maintenance, maintenance plans, lubrication schedules and their proper implementation.
6. Familiarization with Environmental Aspects to perform Impact/Aspect analysis for the complete Plant.
