• Commence the project from foundation to frame structure including Infrastructure, hard and soft landscape and accomplished with luxury interior fit-out. (RCC concrete structure, Swimming pool, water features, lift and dumbwaiters, block and plaster work, Tiles, marble, false ceiling, wood and marble claddings, parquet flooring, wooden doors and Hyline aluminum, Metal work, home automation system, CCTV, Lights and chandeliers, decorative painting and wallpapers, furniture and curtains).
• Coordinating and follow up MEP subcontractors regarding MEP items (HVAC, Fire fitting and fire alarm, LV and ELV, high voltage, plumbing, drainage and water supply lines) to be done as per coordination drawings to avoid any conflicts with architecture and interior design.
• In case of major conflict which would be more costly to rectify, make necessary modifications in design with approval of architect and interior designer.
• Organize the resources for the project such as manpower, materials and liaise with other departments in the company such as contracts and purchasing to execute the project independently. Monitor and complete the project within the construction program and budget. Monitor interim payments with QS for clients, follow up and set payment priorities.
• Coordinate with specialist subcontractors and consultants to prepare shop drawings for consultant and clients approvals ensuring the drawings meet the design and specification requirements.
• Monitor the Quality control and quality assure work and subcontractors at site.
• Facilitated construction by mapping out installations and establishing reference points, grades and elevations.
• Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives.
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
• Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project like AACM, ADM, ADSSC, ADDC, AADC, ADCD) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
• Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
• Raising ITR, RFI, material submittals and material inspection to consultant and follow up. • Controlled site engineering activities to maintain work standards and meet quality assurance targets. Checking venders progress, invoices claimed and processed to accounts.
• Estimated quantities and cost of materials, equipment and labor to determine project feasibility and meet the deadline.
• Monitored impacts of changes to infrastructure and irrigation systems, effectively determining courses of actions based on site conditions.
• Planned and coordinated work requiring modification of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Analyzed survey reports, maps, blueprints and other topographic and geologic data to effectively plan projects.
• Hire contractors and staff and allocate responsibilities.
• Determine and define project scope and objectives.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
