Electrical Maintenance as a Sectional Head of 400kV Switchyard, Power Transformer,
Turbo Generator, HT/LT Switchgear & Drives of Boiler & Turbine area, ESP, AHP,
Emergency DG Sets, Township, 33kV & 11kV Overhead Lines of 2*660MW Power
Generation Station.

• Led electrical maintenance as Section Head for 400kV switchyard, turbo generators, power transformers,
excitation systems, HT/LT switchgear, ESP rectifiers, and emergency DG sets, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
• Directed the successful commissioning of 2 × 660 MW power generation units, overseeing protection relays,
drives, and balance-of-plant electrical systems.
• Achieved 100% equipment reliability by executing preventive, corrective, and major overhauls, and by
implementing a zero forced-outage plan.
• Managed annual maintenance budgets exceeding $5M, tracked monthly consumption, and optimized
expenditures to remain within approved limits.
• Supervised spares management, including availability, preservation, and inventory control, while ensuring
compliance with departmental KPIs.
• Conducted root cause analyses, identified improvement opportunities, and implemented performance
enhancement strategies across electrical systems.

• Commissioned major electrical assets such as generators, transformers, switchgear, GIS, and motors, supporting
seamless integration into plant operations.
• Oversaw both major and minor maintenance activities post-commissioning, improving reliability and reducing
