FINANCE AND HR:
As the Head of Accounts & Finance at the head office, I am responsible for handling all financial and HR matters. My tasks include preparing financial reports, budgets, donor reports, and management accounts, as well as supervising external audits. Additionally, I manage corporate matters, taxation, and ensure statutory compliance with SECP, FBR, EOBI, and banks, as well as the approval of NPOs and exemptions. Furthermore, I oversee administration and HR assignments.

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• My extensive experience in managerial roles has equipped me with strong leadership and supervisory skills. I have successfully developed and managed financial systems, models, procedures, and processes.
• My role has consistently involved the meticulous review and editing of financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• I am adept at preparing and submitting comprehensive financial reports to donors, meeting all associated deliverables within set deadlines.
• I assist the chief executive/director in planning, monitoring financial conditions, and forecasting ongoing projects to ensure compliance with donor requirements and seamless operations.
• My role involves liaising with technical teams and Programme Managers for effective operational management.
• I prepare cash flow projections for short, medium, and long terms.
• I coordinate with external auditors to complete audit activities.
• I manage all insurance arrangements and related activities for staff and fixed assets.
• I prepare quarterly financial reports and submit them to donors.
• I prepare management accounts for audit purposes.
• I manage day-to-day banking activities, including cash management.
• I maintain accounting records, such as bank payment vouchers, petty cash vouchers, journal vouchers, and receipts vouchers.
• I review and coordinate project agreements.
• I ensure compliance with finance and admin policies.
• I provide training and capacity building for finance and admin staff and CBOs.
• I supervise fixed asset verification for all program offices and the head office.
• I control and forecast income and expenditure.
FILLING OF STATUTORY RETURNS AND CORRESPONDING WITH LEGAL INSTITUTIONS:
• Corresponding with legal institutions SECP, FBR, EOBI, Banks, and EAD etc.
• Handling legal matters like a renewal of license, NOC, Certification with PCP, and Tax exemption certificate from FBR, etc.
• Filing of income tax returns, statement of collection and deduction u/s 165, filing of annual salary tax return u/s 149, and preparation of income tax challan (PSID)
• Monthly submit a report to EOBI
SUPERVISION OF HR:
• Preparation of employees' and consultants’ contracts and offer letters
• Preparation of salary sheet, disbursement of salary, and salary slip
• Manage employees’ advances
• Manage employees' leave records
• Final settlement of staff and consultants
• EOBI registration and maintaining a record

Accounting and Auditing
